This conclusion wasn't just something he made up…No, it was based on a reason. The reason being that even though the trio could gain experience points, they didn't have the level and cosmic shop presented on the status. This would be the case and these sections would not appear until they reach the next tier of their evolution.
This was the exact base of his whole theory and he came to the conclusion that Status needed some type of stimulus to make something appear or disappear from it.
