"Congratulations Miss Barker, you're 3 weeks pregnant. However, you're in a critical condition with your baby and you need to be at bed rest in order for your baby to grow healthy. You've been under lots of duress lately, you need to be under the close watch of a nurse."
Staring into space, I felt numbness in my chest. I didn't know how to react to the news, I had asked Xavier to leave cause I couldn't stand him around me. Hearing this news alone was too much for me to handle.
Tears welled up in my eyes and after the doctor had left, I picked up my phone and sent a quick text to River to help pack my bags from Xavier's house and come meet me at the hospital. She replied with a thumbs up soon after, so I rested my head back on the pillow and closed my eyes. Then the door opened.
"Princess?" My heart sank.
"Please let me explain." His voice almost like a whisper.
