As the Infernal Giant King clashed with the Spider Queen Lolth, the Ten Sovereigns' summoned entities—an Ice Phoenix, a Light Elf King, an inconspicuous Grey Wolf, and a Scythe Beast—fought against the four Drow gods. Among them, the Drow deity Eilistraee, though nominally part of the Drow pantheon, did not appear.
"Hiss!"... Suddenly, the characteristic hiss of a cold-blooded creature echoed. Any being that heard this sound—whether demon, giant, or even deity—felt a sense of revulsion and unease.
If even the gods were affected, the less powerful demons were even worse off. Some, upon hearing the sound, collapsed and fell into a deep sleep, descending into even more terrifying states.
"It's finally here." Watching his summoned epic creatures battle the Drow pantheon led by Lolth, the Ten Sovereigns had been standing still, seemingly waiting for something. He looked toward the deeper layers of the abyss with a calm expression, as if expecting the appearance of this abomination.
This was one of the reasons he obstructed the Emperor of Machines and the Wasteland Lord. A powerful being of order like him entering the chaotic abyss would inevitably trigger a strong rejection, causing some ancient and special entities to emerge and attempt to hunt or expel him.
For example, now, the true defensive mechanism of the abyss had been triggered, summoning a very special giant creature.
"It's the Nightmare Serpent!" Amidst the continuous empowerment of the abyss, the Spider Queen Lolth, who was already able to confront the Infernal Giant Abaddon head-on and even withstand his thrown furnace, laughed excitedly. She was now unassailable; the titan had no chance to attack her anymore.
"Abaddon, is this all you've got to challenge me?" The Ten Sovereigns' faint voice interrupted Lolth, who seemed about to speak further. A simple yet effective taunt for the straightforward and rough-tempered Infernal Giant King.
"Roar!" A trace of shame and anger appeared in Abaddon's narrow eyes. He could ignore anyone's words, but he couldn't disregard Shayanord, a formidable opponent who had once defeated him in direct combat with overwhelming force.
"My name is Abaddon!" With a battle cry, Abaddon's body swelled, growing taller. Flames erupted from him, scorching the Spider Queen's body.
At Lolth's level, elemental attacks like thunder, fire, and hurricanes had lost their effectiveness. Most spells no longer worked on her, yet the flames of the Infernal Giant King still caused her pain. Of course, while Lolth was uncomfortable, Abaddon was not much better off. Lolth's snake-headed whip, imbued with divine power mixed with demonic chaos and destructive energy, struck him, causing similarly unpleasant sensations.
"Fight with ease; I'll handle whatever happens," the Ten Sovereigns instructed, looking deeper into the abyss. A radiant scepter appeared in his hand.
"Hiss!" "Boom!" Accompanied by sounds of landslides and earthquakes, a colossal serpent moved forward, creating a commotion wherever it passed. Demons were either crushed or devoured by it or fell into a deep sleep and into nightmares.
"Nightmare Serpent!" The Ten Sovereigns showed rare seriousness upon seeing the giant snake summoned by the abyssal will. This abomination's power was formidable, especially with the abyss empowering it and suppressing him.
The Nightmare Serpent Dandelion was born from the first nightmare. Before dawn, countless terrifying and evil nightmares were devoured by her. She particularly enjoyed nightmares of kings and gods.
More horrifyingly, if Dandelion's insatiable hunger was not satisfied, all beings, mortal and divine alike, would remember the painful details of every nightmare they had.
In many material realms, she was considered a harbinger of the world's end, capable of devouring even gods. Some mistakenly called her the Mother of Night Terrors.
This monstrous serpent had earned the title of World Eater, having devoured suns in the material realm more than once. Its appearance caused even deities to tremble.

"Trouble, it's the Nightmare Serpent Dandelion." Lansendel, the Lord of Dawn, frowned as he saw the massive serpent, contemplating whether to risk falling by entering the abyss to support the Order Titan.
"Dandelion!" The God of Justice also noticed the Nightmare Serpent summoned by the Ten Sovereigns, his face darkening. The sight of this serpent reminded him of the chaos beast of the same name, the Chaos Hellhound Kozeff, who had bitten off his right hand in battle.
"Can you target this giant serpent with your stellar orbital cannon?" The Wasteland Lord looked at the Nightmare Serpent confronting the Ten Sovereigns and asked the Machine Emperor.
"It's impossible to hit from this distance; it would have enough time to evade." The Machine Emperor Osiris shook his head. His newly built stellar orbital cannon was better suited for hitting large, immobile targets like divine kingdoms.
"I can't just stand here and watch." Seeing the epic titan engaged in battle with the Nightmare Serpent, Archimonde took a step forward, ready to enter the abyss.
"Don't make things worse. You going in would only provoke a stronger response from the abyss, summoning an entity as powerful or even more so than you. The abyss is full of beings capable of challenging us."
"Just watch?"
"Of course, the Nightmare Serpent won't be able to overcome Lord Shayanord." The Machine Emperor Osiris remained calm. He had seen this ancient titan in action before. Moreover, those epic beings fighting proved the Ten Sovereigns' strength; without the power to subdue them, how could he command them to fight for him?
"Pathetic creature." The Ten Sovereigns looked at the coiled Nightmare Serpent before him, swinging his scepter with spatial cracks—a weapon more akin to a war hammer, much like Muria's Apocalyptic Staff.
Shattered scales and foul, corrosive blood spurted out as the massive beast roared in anger, lunging forward, attempting to devour the Ten Sovereigns whole...
