Chapter 10 - Chapter Ten

"I think we should all go and talk to him together," Felix said. "We'll be there to support you, and we'll make sure that he knows that this kind of behavior is not okay." Rebecca nodded with her face full of revenge. "Okay," she said. " I think the three of us should go now, while Lucy stays at home and look after her babies".Marshall suggested. "No problem, I will, but make sure that u deal with his mercilessly, okay" Lucy said. Rebecca felt a sense of relief, knowing that she had her friends by her side. Ethan had given her his address, inviting her over whenever she wanted to.

So, as the trio approached Ethan's house, they couldn't help but overhear a conversation coming from inside. It sounded like Ethan was talking on the phone, and he was clearly agitated. "I don't understand why you're not taking this more seriously," he said, his voice full of anger. "We need to act now, before it's too late!". The three of them exchanged glances, wondering who he was talking to. "You don't know what we're dealing with," Ethan continued. "These hybrids are more dangerous than you could ever imagine. If we don't stop them, they'll destroy everything we've worked for." The three of them looked at each other again in alarm. What was Ethan talking about? And who is he talking to? They were about to find out, as they heard Ethan say, "I know you're very powerful Supreme one". It was at this point that Marshal knew that Ethan was an ally of Adolphus the supreme one.

Marshal, Rebecca and Daniel were shocked and marveled that they wanted to run home and inform Lucy that the babies were in grave danger. As they were taking a step backwards, Felix mistakenly broke a vase; and this created an alarm. They knew someone must have heard it, and that it wouldn't be long before someone came to investigate. Marshal decided to distract them, so he told Rebecca and Felix to run away while he deals with Ethan for they were just humans. Felix ran as fast as possible, so he could inform Lucy of the recent occurrence, but Rebecca refused to leave Marshal behind.

Sure enough, they heard footsteps coming down the hallway, and then the door burst open. There stood Ethan, his face twisted in confusion and anger. "What are you people doing here?" he demanded. He looked around the room, and his eyes landed on the broken vase. "Oh, so that's what this is about, you were eavesdropping on my conversation, which means you know who I am already" he said. A cruel smile spreading across his face. As Ethan opened his mouth, Rebecca and Marshall, caught a glimpse of something that sent a chill down their spines. There, protruding from Ethan's mouth, were two long, sharp fangs. They realized at that moment that Ethan was a vampire, and that he had been lying to them all along. But before he could react, Marshal let out a low growl. His body started to change, and in seconds, he had transformed into a large, ferocious werewolf. He let out a roar, his eyes fixed on Ethan.

The look of anger on Ethan's face turned to one of fear as he realized what was happening. But it was too late for him to escape. Marshal charged at him, knocking him to the ground with a powerful swipe of his paw. Ethan let out a yelp of pain, but he quickly recovered and started to fight back. The two of them tumbled around, tearing at each other with their claws and teeth. But no matter how hard he tried, Ethan couldn't seem to get the upper hand. He was no match for the strength and ferocity of the werewolf. After a few minutes, Ethan lay on the ground, panting and defeated. Marshal stood over him, his eyes glowing with a primal rage. But then, something happened that neither Rebecca nor Marshal could have predicted.

There was a sudden commotion at the door. Rebecca and Marshal turned only to see a group of vampires. Their fangs bared and their eyes filled with malice. They must have been drawn by the sound of the fight. They surrounded Marshal, and before he could react, he was seized by a pair of strong, cold hands.

"What do you want with us?" Rebecca asked, her voice trembling with fear. Suddenly out of nowherwe came a tall, dark-haired lady by name Bianca. "We want your blood and that of the chosen one," she said with her eyes glowing red. Rebecca's eyes widened in terror. She knew that vampires needed blood to survive, but she never thought that she would be on the receiving end of their hunger. "No!" she cried out. "Please, there must be some other way!" But the vampires were not interested in bargaining. They approached her, their fangs glistening in the light. Marshall struggled against the grip of the vampire holding him, but it was of no use. He was helpless to stop what was about to happen. "Don't worry," Bianca said, her voice strangely soothing. "This will only hurt for a moment."

As the Bianca drew closer to Rebecca, a strange feeling began to wash over her. She could feel her body changing, her muscles growing stronger and her senses heightening. She looked down at her hands and saw that they were changing, too. Fur was sprouting from her skin, and her nails were growing into sharp claws. Before she knew it, she had transformed into a werewolf. With a howl, she lunged at the vampire, who was taken by surprise, and the battle was on. Rebecca had always been a werewolf but she promised herself not to let anyone know about it, and to transform only at the right moment.

The vampire woman was a skilled fighter, but Rebecca was just as fierce. They fought back and forth, each landing blows on the other. Marshall was shocked to see Rebecca transform, so he watched in awe as the two powerful creatures battled it out. Finally, Rebecca managed to get the upper hand, knocking the vampire to the ground. She pinned her down, baring her fangs. "You'll never take my blood," she snarled. "I'll fight you to the death!" The vampire's eyes widened in fear. She had clearly underestimated Rebecca's strength.

As Rebecca stood over the fallen vampire, she felt a sudden pain in her side. She looked down and saw one of the other vampires, a tall, muscular man, holding a knife to Marshal's throat. "Surrender," he said. "Or your friend dies." Rebecca hesitated. She didn't want to give in, but she couldn't bear the thought of Marshal being hurt. "Please," she said, her voice shaking. "Don't hurt him." The vampire smiled cruelly. "Then surrender," he said. "Now." Rebecca felt like she had no choice. She lowered her head in defeat.

Rebecca's surrendering seemed to please the vampires. The man with the knife released Marshal, who immediately rushed to Rebecca's side. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice full of concern. Rebecca nodded, as she felt anything but okay seeing Marshal off harm way. The vampires led them out of the room and down a long, dark hallway. They stopped in front of a heavy wooden door. One of the vampires opened it, revealing a large, dimly lit room. "Step inside", the man said. Rebecca and Marshal exchanged a look, then stepped into the room.

The room was like something out of a nightmare. The walls were covered in dark, swirling patterns that seemed to move and shift. In the center of the room was a large, stone altar. On top of the altar was a gleaming, silver dagger. Rebecca's heart pounded in her chest as she realized what was about to happen. "What do you want from us?" she asked, her voice shaking. The vampires ignored her question. They grabbed her and Marshal, forcing them towards the altar. "Stop it," Rebecca shouted. "Don't do this!" But her words fell on deaf ears.
