It was Xiu, who had awakened and upon seeing Edea, ran towards her without hesitation. Edea, at first, was a bit embarrassed by the sudden approach, but she quickly welcomed the friendship of her distant relative.
Swiftly, the two formed a bond, and Edea sought Lian's permission to teach Xiu the techniques linked to her lineage that he had passed on to her previously.
Xiu was now wholly absorbed in comprehending everything she was taught, eager to master and enhance her skills. She realized she had been sheltered and nurtured like a precious flower in a greenhouse, shielded from the adversities of the real world. The mix of desperation and respect motivated her to seek Edea's friendship.
