Lian finally entered the Earth Vein after many centuries. However, the first thing that crossed his mind was, "It's all just as I remember it."
Inside the Earth Vein was a world beneath the earth, composed of endless tunnels that extended like the roots of a colossal tree, deeper into the Earth. Each tunnel was wider and taller than the tallest building in the capital, and despite being underground, it wasn't dark; the entire place shimmered with an intense and sacred navy blue.
Lian was familiar with all the tunnels of the Earth Vein and began to move calmly, but the dense Qi here pressed against the orange Qi of his gate, which refused to close within his body. He had hoped the Vein could close it, but it seemed he would have to use another method, and for some reason, he felt okay with that.
"It seems my demonic heart has affected my mind a bit," thought Lian, trying to find an excuse for himself.
