The three men chuckled, they all knew Trevor getting married was something that no one would dare dream about. If he actually got married, then there would be two options; cheat or die as a result of staying with on woman.
Dylan offered Davis a seat beside him. He sat down and kept his usual expression, but Dylan knew someone must have annoyed him.
"What's wrong, Davis. You don't look okay. You can always confide in us as your best friends." Dylan said in a concerned tone.
Trevor also looked at him with concern. He too noticed Davis was in a bad mood.
He took a deep breath. "I just had a discussion with Liam Jefferson." He revealed the cause of his annoyance. "He talked nonsense as usual about opening a can of worms. I really want to deal with him badly but his dad and my dad have this close relationship that I don't understand." He sounded pissed off.
Dylan tapped his shoulder lightly. "He is only jealous because you got Calla while he didn't."
Trevor added. "Yeah, if you can't teach that guy a lesson, then let me do it for you." He said in a serious tone.
Everyone knew Trevor had a bad tamper, if he was the one in Davis's shoes, he could have dealt with Liam and damn the consequences.
Davis sighed. "No need for that, Trevor. I can handle him." He said with hatred for Liam evident in his eyes.
Dylan spoke up. "Let's talk about something else. How are things going with that gorgeous wife of yours?." He asked with a smile on his face.
Davis's expression soften at the mentioned of his wife.
"She still hates me, but I am sure in no time at all she will be madly in love with me." He said matter-of-factly.
His friends smiled.
"Now, that's the spirit." Trevor said excitedly. "I have to teach you how to woo a woman. How do you think I managed to woo all those women into my bed? Having a handsome face isn't the only tool needed to make a woman fall for you. You also need a charming personality.
I know you must think that you are charming but you are wrong, you are only charming in your own eyes."
His friends looked at him in shock. He thought Davis's personality wasn't charming enough to woo a woman? How ridiculous. A lot more woman were ready to follow Davis into bed than him.
"You think I don't have a charming personality." Davis asked with a raised eye brow.
Trevor fell silent, maybe he had talk to much.
"Er that's not what I mean, Davis. I only meant Calla doesn't think you are charming." He was trying not to anger him further.
Davis suddenly became interested in what Trevor was saying.
"How can I be more charming to get her?." He asked in a serious tone.
Trevor smiled, excitement was clearly plastered on his face. He loved talking about women.
He cleared his throat, he was ready to lecture his friend on how to woo a woman.
"You have to behave like a gentleman whenever you are around her, don't always put on this cold face in her presence, always compliment her looks. Get her gifts for no reason, defend her and make her feel safe around you. Spend both your time and money on her, don't let her feel insecure around you. One more thing, make her feel jealous."
Both Davis and Dylan raised an eyebrow after hearing the last part.
"I should make her feel jealous?." Davis asked with an uncertain look on his face.
"Yeah. If she sees you talking to a woman or having lunch with another woman, by my knowledge of women, she would be jealous and she would want to have you to herself.
Davis nodded his head, he would keep that in mind.
"Isn't that your wife over there." Dylan asked in a panicked tone.
Davis followed his line of sight to where his wife was standing facing Zoey Wilmer. He was about walking to them, but Dylan held him back.
"I know Zoey is bad news but let's see how your wife is going to react. She needs to be strong as your wife."
What he said made sense to Davis so he sat back and focused on his wife.
Few minutes ago...
Calla got bored while waiting for Davis to return, so she decided to go and look for him.
She sighted Davis talking to Dylan and Trevor, he didn't see her, so she decided to walk up to them.
Calla was surprised to see a hand holding her back. Her expression turned dark, who dare to hold her back?
She looked up at the woman holding her hand. She yanked her hand free from Zoey's.
"Don't you try to hold me back next time." She said in a cold voice. Zoey was surprised at how cold Calla voice was.
It was almost as scary as that of Davis.
She managed to maintain her composure. "You must be my Davis's unloved wife." she said in a mocking time.
Calla was enraged by her words. It was true that her marriage with Davis was not based on love but it was an insult coming out of this woman's mouth.
"I went away for a show in Bahamas but I came back to find out that my love got married to a common dance studio owner. How shameful." Hatred was evident in her eyes as she looked at Calla.
Calla's gaze turned hateful. "I also can't believe that a high class model like you couldn't win the handsome CEO's heart but a common dance studio owner did."
Her words were a slap to Zoey.
She raised her hand to slap Calla but she held it in mid air.
"The next time such nonsense is repeated, you will regret it dearly." She said in a cold voice that sent shivers down Zoey's spine.
Calla walked out on her, leaving Zoey's mouth hanging out in shock.
Davis and his friends smiled when they saw Calla's reaction. She was the real wife of the CEO.
