Blaze walked and opened the door after he hid the com amulet. Evelyn, with an accomplished grin plastered on his face, stood at his door.
"What do you want?" Blaze asked coldly.
"Have you forgotten the winner's reward? I'm just using my reward. That's all."
With that, she pushed Blaze and strutted into his house.
'Dammit! Just one mistake.'
Blaze closed the door behind him and said to Evelyn, "I think you cheated. Come to think of it. Your prediction is too accurate. It was like a planned game. Maybe you and Aurora had an agreement behind my back."
"I never cheated. It's you that can't afford to lose." Evelyn's lips twisted.
"Fine," Blaze surrendered and sat on his bed.
He couldn't leave to call Caroline because he wasn't sure Evelyn wouldn't follow. Maybe there were ways she could follow him without him noticing something amiss. After all, he doesn't know what a Grand Mage was capable of.
