Blaze's eyes fluttered open and he was shocked when he stared out of the window – it was the next morning.
"What happened?" Blaze muttered, asking no one in particular. He was accustomed to being vigilant of his surroundings even in his sleep, but he slept too comfortably for his liking.
"I believe the potion also aids in soothing the mind. You've been putting too much strain on your thoughts lately," Aphrodite responded, seated comfortably.
"Did anything occur while I was asleep?" Blaze asked cautiously.
Aphrodite shook her head. "No, nothing at all."
"The library pass?"
"Nobody brought it."
Blaze nodded and quickly got ready for school, feeling significantly better after the rejuvenating sleep and the potion's effects. As luck would have it, there was a break in classes due to the intensity of the previous test, but school was back in session today.
