Michael punched the last werewolf using an energy projection as it died from his attack. He then looked around and then saw a [Low Demon Wolf lvl 22] as he hummed at the sight as he smiled at it.
"Let's see how I can fight against you alone." Michael said as he looked at it.
The wolf howled before it ran towards him, it's teeth bared to rip the human in front of it to pieces. It dashed towards him as lightning covered it as it reached him as he jumped while also shooting a ring each from his arms which gave him a boost as he managed to dodge the attack.
He looked at it as it skidded to a stop and glared at him before it shot towards him and jumped with its jaws covered in electricity and since he is in the air he isn't able to dodge it as his eyes widened as he shot all the rings at the wolf, simultaneously damaging the wolf and also sending him back as he landed on the ground.
His rings returned back to him as he dashed towards the wolf as it was shaking its head due to the blow he had given it. He used the opportunity to increase his speed and reached it, then increased his strength by 4x and then punched it with energy projection.
The wolf cried in pain as it was sent away by the attack as he followed it and then sent a claw of energy at it as it hit it as it howled in pain. But he didn't stop as he sent a barrage of energy shaped like claws as it hit the wolf again and again as it's body was starting to get covered in slashes.
But the wolf was also getting more angry alongside the pain as it growled and let out a high pitched wolf howl which caused Michael to wince and flinch from it as his attacks stopped.
Something which the wolf capitalised on as it glared at him and shot towards him with electricity covering it's body and concentrating on its jaw.
"Shit!" Michael swore as he saw it coming towards him.
He shot the rings down as he jumped to dodge it, but his eyes widened when the wolf jumped towards him with its mouth open. He immediately shot two energy claws at it to stop it. The attacks hit, but the wolf was too angry at the moment as it bore the attack as it wanted to get him.
'Fuck!' Michael shouted in his mind as he grabbed it's teeth with his hands and used his legs to keep its jaws open.
"Gakahaahggaha!" Michael cried out in pain as he was electrocuted as he had used the rings to increase his defence.
'Ah it hurts.' Michael thought as he used his strength and managed to jump out of its jaws.
The rings returned to his arms as he fired them on the Wolf's nose, causing it to howl and wimper due to the strike as he fell on the ground as he kneeled, as his body is smoking.
'If it wasn't for the fact that I am a player, I would've probably died. Tch, I have to do this quickly.' Michael thought to himself as he used his rings.
He increased his speed by 12x and used the rest of the rings to multiply his strength by 48x as he glared at the wolf.
'I have used more than half of my MP, I have to make this count.' Michael thought to himself as he shot towards the wolf.
But he underestimated how fast he would go as he reached the wolf the moment he dashed, something which shocked him as he wasn't expecting that to happen, as he then tore through the body of the wolf and flew a good distance before he crashed into a large boulder and destroyed it before he rolled on the ground.
"That hurts." Michael groaned as he laid on the ground as his body ached from hitting the boulder.
He looked at his stats as it showed that his MP has been reduced to 86, and his HP has been reduced to 289. He frowned at his stats as he sat back up and looked at the direction of his former enemy as he watched it disappear after its defeat.

Michael blinked his eyes at the words before he felt his body becoming rejuvenated due to leveling up as his new stats were being shown to him as he looked at it.

"Hey, Energy Projection leveled up." Michael said with a smile when he saw that.
He smiled at that and then he got up and exited the Gate as he gathered the 2 stars and then made his way to the HQ before he got the money for it.
"Thanks for your hard work. Now another Gate has been closed." The receptionist said to him with a smile.
"It's fine. You're also helping me after all." Michael said with a smile.
"Well, just be careful okay. Do not let your victories get to your head, and be sure to be cautious whenever you try to go to a Gate." The receptionist said to him seriously.
"I'll keep it in mind." Michael said with a nod at hearing that.
Then he left the HQ to go the hospital his mother is in, after all, she has to stay in there for sometime before she is discharged after all. Though as he made his way to the hospital, he remembered the words of the receptionist as he frowned as her words echoed in his mind.
'Still, she is right about that. If I didn't take care of that thing quickly, then perhaps I would've been defeated. Of course, I had used a lot more power than I had imagined, which in hindsight isn't something that I should do.' Michael thought to himself as he remembered the fight.
He reached the area of the hospital as he landed on the alley before he walked out of it.
'I need to learn to use the rings more proficiently. There is also the fact that the multiplication will only last for a single action before it goes. That is the weakness, as I can't spam it without consequences. So if it were a battle of attrition where the enemy is able to withstand or dodge my attacks, then it would be detrimental for me.' Michael thought to himself as he walked inside the building.
He made his way to his mother's room and entered it to see her sleeping soundly as he smiled at the sight. He looked at the tubes that were attached to her arms as it gave her the necessary nutrients.
"Soon mom, soon you'll be able to get out of here. And I'll also buy a good house after earning more money. After that, well, we do have to meet dad." Michael said with a small smile on his face as he watched her.
'I have more work to do.' Michael thought to himself as he knew that he has to make more money to make sure that his mother can be at ease.
Even if his mother has awoken, it will take time for her to get used to the fact that her husband had died, after all, she will obviously need time to come to terms with his death and the state of her family. And he will make sure that she will get the time he needs.
"Don't worry mom. I'm here to take care of you. It might not be much, but I will do what I can." Michael said with a smile as he looked at his mother.
