I expected the driver to be waiting for me, but instead, it turned out my dad had come to pick me up himself. I was surprised and confused. My dad was the most wealthy person on earth who never had time for his son, and he had come to pick me up for the first time since I was in university. He had also come in the latest sports car that drew everyone's attention. I went and sat inside the car and said, "Hey Dad, why did you come to pick me up?" He just smiled and said, " Aaron, Today I'm thinking of going to a movie. I have told my secretary to leave everything for tomorrow." I said, "Yeah really? But I don't like this car surrounded by bodyguards going with us wherever we go." He said, "Hey, okay. We'll go to a movie without bodyguards. But first, let's go pick up your mom and go home so we can change clothes and freshen up too."
We drove towards our house, which was more like a Castle. My dad had built it because he knew my mom liked castles. He loved Mom more than anything. They were the best couple I knew. The security guard opened the gate for us and we went in.
Dad gave the key to the butler to park the car and told me to go freshen up. I went in and saw my mom sitting on the couch reading a book. A maid brought me and Dad a glass of water after seeing us home. Mom came to me and hugged me and asked how my day had been. She always cared about me more than anything else in the world. My dad got jealous of my mom's priority being me and he said, "Ahh, He didn't go to a war, he just went to university." Mom just glared at him and he said, "Yeah, yeah. You just love your son. I was the one who gifted him to you." She went awkward and said, "Whatever, Felix." My dad just chuckled at Mom's remark and picked her up in his arms. Mom tried to struggle but Dad wouldn't budge. He put her on the couch and she got angry and said, "Are you mad? Our son is not a kid anymore, but I don't know when will you grow up." Dad retorted, "That's what I'm saying. Our son is not a kid so he won't mind, right son?" He asked me and I just smiled and said, "Of course not, Dad." Mom said, "Whatever," and said she would get some snacks for me. I stopped her and told her about the plans Dad had made. She just smiled and said okay and we went for a movie date, we enjoyed a nice family date. My mom and dad even in their 40s looked like they were in their 20s. They both seemed made for each other, but little did I know the truth...
The next day, the driver drove me to university. After the lectures were over, the cosmology professor who was my aunt said, "Let's go to the library." We went and sat in the library. Aunt asked me, "So what should I tell you about first?" I said, "The story please." She smiled and said, "No child, I am not going to tell you the story itself. You'll have to read it yourself." She added, "Do you know about loopholes? Well, it's a rare phenomenon where once in a thousand light years or a hundred light years away two planets in the multiverse get connected. As we have not found exact rules regarding time and space yet, but yeah two same spaces get connected 25 years ago. I'll just tell you the beginning; the rest you can read in this book and maybe imagine the whole story just as your mom does about any story. Your mom is a great bookworm; that's why you have a library at home." I said, "So that's the reason for the library? Okay now I know why there's a library when my dad doesn't like books but for mom's sake..." I smiled. She smiled too and said, "Of course, I know Felix loves her wholeheartedly. Well here is the book; and even if the characters are somewhat known to you please don't show this book to your mom or dad and read it when you're alone. This is the reason behind everything." keep it a secret and when you know tell me the truth too.....
