To be loved.
What does it feel like to be loved? What would she gain from being loved? Would life be better for her and her son? What would it be like to be taken care of by a man?
These were the questions the previous Georgia usually had. And now that this too-good-to-be-true Alpha offered her an option, Georgia began to ask herself these questions because she was strangely feeling like Georgia.
It felt as if the new Georgia never had a life of her own and the body she possessed was actually taking over her mind and the way she thought.
However, It was indeed a nice and favorable offer. If Georgia accepted his offer, she'd be his Luna, rule his pack with him and her son would be happy knowing that he had a father. And her son would be the future Alpha.
She wouldn't need Theodore in her life but did she want this?
Georgia looked outside the window, seeing that the road they were driving through was a bridge, and by the side of the bridge was a beach.
Georgia pictured herself sitting on the sand to receive fresh hair, especially when she was listening to the sea.
At this point where Georgia found herself in a terrible spot unable to decide where her new life was leading and how she'd make this new life better, she needed something to calm her mind and soul.
The feeling had became worse when Georgia met her mate. She couldn't push the depression away because that wolf was her mate. She fell in love with him without even knowing who he was.
Although Georgia is determined to be very different from the softhearted previous Georgia, she surprisingly can't believe that she is actually getting depressed by Theodore.
This made the new Georgia realize that her new life wouldn't be easy. The body she possessed had a big effect on her body and mind, especially the wolf inside her.
Theodore broke Georgia's heart and he didn't stop there, he went on torturing her.
Georgia just couldn't understand why he was hellbent on making her life more difficult.
Life had been so difficult for her since the day she entered the world and in the end, she became the mate of a heartless Alpha who finds joy in her pain. How cruel of Theodore!
Georgia announced for the car to take a halt when she saw that they would soon pass the beach. She then turned to the Alpha when the car stopped and smiled calmly.
"You made my night. I'm grateful for that and wish to spend more time with a man who cares about my feelings but I hope you understand that I have to think about your offer before stamping a deal with you. I still find it unbelievable for an Alpha to accept a wolf who has a baby. So, please grant me a little bit of time to consider your offer," Georgia negotiated as politely as she could, and then she backed her statement up with a cute smile.
"You are beautiful," the Alpha, being bewitched by her appearance, lifted his hand and touched her face. "You deserve the chance to think about all these things. So yes, I'll wait for you and hope that I receive a positive answer from you, my lady," Alpha Micah said to her calmly.
"I wish you were my mate," Georgia unknowingly let out her emotion and when she realized it, she wanted to jerk out of his car. Again, she was controlled by Georgia's body and mind. So after her statement, she decided to yank out of the Alpha's car.
"It's cold out by this time," The Alpha stopped her and said, pulling off his suit jacket. "Here," and then he wore it around her small body. "Stay safe and I'll call you," after making sure that Georgia was covered, he declared and watched her slowly climb out of the car.
"Good night, Alpha Micah," Georgia bent to say that to him through the window after climbing out of his car.
"Have a good night, my beautiful wolf," he responded.
The next moment, Georgia stood by the side of the road, watching as the car disappeared from her sight. Georgia heaved a deep sigh and went down the bridge to settle by the sea on the beach.
Georgia covered herself with the suit jacket tightly, causing her to perceive Micah's smell. Georgia sat on the sand, feeling chilled by the waves coming from the sea. The sound multiplied the sensation surging through her body and she found it pleasing.
Georgia planned to head home to her son after she regained her mind. While watching and listening to the sea waves, Georgia remembered the kiss she shared with Theodore earlier that evening.
It wasn't disgusting, it was sweet. Georgia didn't know if it was the first time the real Georgia felt her mate mentally because there was still no confirmation that Theodore was the father of her son or not.
But Georgia got angry when he kissed her with those lips he had shared with other girls. Recalling those moments the real Georgia has faced, Georgia's heart twitched in pain, causing her to wince for the previous Georgia.
On the second day of her new job, while Georgia was standing by the receptionist, doing her job as a manager, she received a message about the Alpha needing her attention.
Georgia's heart began to race in an awkward manner as she couldn't get the thought of the Alpha reconsidering her out of her delicate mind. Georgia was in love with Theodore and she wanted him. She just wanted to be with her mate.
Georgia used the elevator to his office and when she was in the corridor that led to his office, she lost her sense of movement and had to lean on the wall.
The rejection hit her hard again and her heart shuddered in pain. She could break down in tears and wail in agony because it hurt.
It hurt to be rejected because she was weak.
Georgia, however, gathered herself and swallowed the pain killing her. She knocked on the door twice before pushing the door open.
Momentarily, Georgia walked deeper into the room only to hear moans and to her surprise, she found Alpha getting intimate with a worker.
The worker was seated on the table while her mate wrapped her waist, kissing her passionately as if wanting to undress her because he couldn't have enough of her.
Did Georgia's heart stop beating? Georgia didn't even know if she was alive or dead. Her world was blank and her head began to spin at the sight of her mate making out with someone just a day after rejecting her.
Theodore just didn't care about her and the realization murdered Georgia but all she could do was stay silent and walk out.
Georgia believed that that was the only thing she could do to restore her sanity but she failed because her presence was known just when she was close to the exit.
The new Georgia, sitting on the sand and recalling this moment on the beach, gripped the sand.
Georgia couldn't believe it but she was hurt to the extent she already felt like crying. However, she tried to hold back her tears but she failed.
Apart from feeling Georgia's pain, the new Georgia hated the way Alpha Theodore treated the previous Georgia.
In anger and pain, Georgia opened her mouth and roared as loud as she wanted because it felt so relieving.
Just... hadn't she had enough from that foolish Alpha?
