Georgia could feel the amount of pain engulfing her heart. It felt as if her heart had crushed into dust, making her numb to most feelings. She became weak as she struggled to walk out of the beach but soon she lost her stance and fell to her arms.
However, she was able to get back to her feet but was given a helping hand by Daniel. Georgia, at first, wondered who came to help her. She thought it was Micah from earlier but then she saw Daniel, the beta.
"I'm here to take you home, Georgia," Daniel uttered. Georgia then suddenly hated the fact that she was living with the beta. She wiped her tears and let him take her to his car.
"She's safe with me, Alpha," Daniel gave Theodore feedback before finally leaving the area.
Theodore's painful heart only made him angry. He didn't even know if he was angry at himself or his former mate. They had rejected each other before but today felt as if she was more than ready to cut every tie she had with him.
