Dion heard the war cry washing over the city walls, feeling a strength rise up from his feet. Seemingly against his will, he screamed out the words, which dragged out the negative thoughts that had taken root in his mind.
In its place a righteous indignation began to blossom, filling his mind with the will to slaughter the wicked and protect everything that he still held dear. The words resonated with him, increasing his strength and sharpening his resolution.
Who are these monsters that want to come destroy my home? What gives them the right to murder and kill humanity? Who gave them the audacity to come to our homeland and try to take what is ours?
Before he knew it, Dion's body felt hot as if he were burning from the inside.
