Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: A Surprise Visit (Part 2)

As we sit down for tea and snacks, my father bursts through the door with a cake and flowers in hand, shouting, "Guess whose home, now where is new daughter!"

I freeze, feeling a sudden wave of anxiety wash over me. My father has always been supportive of me, but I'm not sure how he'll react to my new identity as a girl and a vampire.

"Hi Dad," I say hesitantly, hoping he won't be upset.

My father stops in his tracks, staring at me with a look of shock and confusion. "Yuki? Is that really you?" he asks, his eyes scanning me up and down.

I take a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. "I know this might be a lot to take in, but I'm a girl now, and a vampire," I explain, hoping he'll understand.

My father's expression softens, and he nods slowly. "I see. That's quite a change, Yuki, or should I say Yuri now. But you're still my child, no matter what. I'll always love and support you," he says, offering me a smile.

I feel a surge of relief and gratitude wash over me, grateful for my father's acceptance. "Thank you, Dad. I really appreciate that," I say, returning his smile.

We all settle down to continue our catch-up session, with my father asking me, and Rika-san questions about my new identity and what it means for my future.

As we finish the tea and snacks, Rika turns to me with a serious expression. "Yuri, there's something important we need to talk about. As you know, Riho and I are both servants of the Blossom clan."

I nod, feeling a bit anxious as to what Rika might say next.

"However, there's something you need to understand. You are not actually blood-related to your mother, father, and sister," Rika reveals, looking at me intently.

I stare at her in shock, feeling my heart drop in my chest. "What do you mean? I don't understand," I stutter, feeling a sense of confusion and disbelief.

Rika takes a deep breath and continues, "Yuri, your real parents were members of the Blossom clan. When they died, your current parents, who were also members of the clan, took you in and raised you as their own."

I feel tears prickling at the corners of my eyes, feeling a sense of betrayal and confusion. "Why didn't they tell me this before?" I whisper, feeling a sense of hurt and anger bubbling inside of me.

Rika gives me a sympathetic look, "It's complicated, Yuri. Your parents wanted to protect you from the dangers of the clan. They thought it would be better for you to grow up in a normal human environment, away from the supernatural world. But now that you've transformed into a vampire, it's important for you to understand your true origins and the responsibilities that come with being a member of the Blossom clan."

As soon as Rika finishes explaining my origins, I feel overwhelmed with emotions. I can't believe that the people I thought were my parents and my sister were not my blood relatives at all. It feels like everything I thought I knew about my life has been turned upside down.

Without a word, I stand up from the table and quickly make my way to my old bedroom. Once inside, I slam the door shut and throw myself onto the bed, burying my face in the pillow to muffle my sobs.

I hear a knock on the door and my mother's voice calling out to me, but I don't respond. I don't want to face anyone right now, especially not my mother who has kept such a big secret from me for my entire life.

After a few minutes, I heard a soft knock on the door again. "Onee-chan, it's me, Aiko. Can I come in?"

I didn't answer at first, but then I unlocked the door and allowed Ai-chan to enter. She walks over to the bed and sits down next to me.

"I know this is a lot to take in and I am confused as you, Onee-chan," Ai-chan begins. "But I want you to know that you're still my sister, no matter what."

I lift my head and look at Onee-chan with tears in my eyes. "But I'm not really your sister, am I? I mean, not by blood."

Ai-chan puts her arm around me and pulls me close. "Blood doesn't matter, Yuri. We may not be related by blood, but we're still family. That's all that matters."

I sniffle and wipe my tears. "I know, Ai-chan. It's just hard to accept all of this."

Ai-chan nods sympathetically. "I understand. But you're not alone in this. We're all here for you, and we'll help you every step of the way."

I nod, feeling comforted by my sister's words. "Thank you, Aiko. I'm glad I have you as my sister."

Aiko smiles warmly. "I'm glad too, Yuri. Now, let's go back to the living room and finish the conversation. I'm sure there's still a lot you want to know."

I take a deep breath and nod, feeling a bit more composed. "Okay, let's go."

Aiko stands up and offers her hand to me. I take it, and together we make our way back to the living room, ready to learn more about the Blossom clan and our place in it.

When we reach the room, I can see my mother and father crying, which makes me start crying as well, I can't stay mad at them, they have supported me no matter what all my life and loved for who I was no matter what, now it is my turn to accept them.

"I'm sorry Mama, Dad, I shouldn't have run out like that, no matter my origins we are still family, I love you both." I state as I run up and hug them both.

After we calmed down, Rika-san started explaining my origins once again. As it turns out, my biological parents died in an accident, luckily, I made it out alive. Both of my parents were vampires, and the heads of the blossom clan. My powers were sealed, so that I could live a normal life, however the seal came undone when I made my wish and my powers awakened. Rika and Riho were sent here to help me learn how to control my powers and Riho was sent here to become my blood servant as part of the clan's orders.

"Are you sure you want to become my servant, Riho, we have been friends since childhood, and I don't to make you uncomfortable?" I asked Riho, but she gave a serious expression and stated...

"It would be an honor to become your blood servant once again, I mean I was meant to be in the beginning before your powers were sealed. Ha-ha."

That was when Ai-chan stood up and spoke with conviction, "If Riho is Onee-chan's blood servant, then I want to be too."

"Do you know what that means Aiko? It means that you will be destined with Yuri for life." Rika tries to explain, as my mother and father look on with exasperation.

"That makes me want to become hers even more, Onee-chan is mine. I will be there and protect her!" Ai-chan yelled out.

I could feel my face getting warmer as Ai-chan declared her desire to be my blood servant. I knew that I couldn't let her devotion go to waste.

"Thank you, Ai-chan. It means a lot to me," I said with a smile, trying to hide my nervousness. "But you have to understand that being a blood servant is a serious commitment. It's not something you can just take back if you change your mind."

"I understand, Onee-chan," Ai-chan replied confidently. "I want to be by your side no matter what, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes."

I looked at our mother and father, and they both nodded their heads that it was okay.

"Alright, then. If that's what you all want, I won't stop you," I said, feeling a little more at ease. "But we need to figure out how to control my powers first. I don't want anyone getting hurt."

"That is where I will come in", Rika-san states. "I am here to train you after all, since your parents are part of the non-vampire branch of our clan."
