It was nighttime, and the three carts transporting the large group of adventurers had reached the mountain pass. It was a narrow path between the towering mountains that stretched from one side to the other.
Thankfully, it wasn't narrow enough for them to leave the carts behind, but their speed had decreased dramatically.
Believing it was best to camp out, Morgana stopped and prompted the group to rest so they could keep moving as soon as the sun came out.
Leaving the mechanical mounts behind to protect the group, Morgana wandered around the area, annoyed at the fact that she couldn't sleep after she took a nap on the road.
Making use of her insomnia, she decided to scout the road ahead. Although she thought it would be useless, considering they were surrounded by a wall of rocks, she couldn't think of a way that anyone could ambush them with nowhere to hide.
