Chapter 13 - Those beautiful purple eyes Part 6

The hero and his company had fought with all their might to reach the castle of the evil vampire Isabella Carmilla, the Queen of the Night.

They knew that to finish her, they had to kill all her descendants, who were cursed by the God of Blood.

Fortunately, the hero's companions were regressors, people who had lived through the same history and could remember what had happened. They had been responsible for eliminating all of Isabella's descendants, or so they thought.

As they entered the throne room, they met the vampire waiting for them with a mocking smile.

Her blonde hair falls in soft waves around her pale face, accentuating her intense crimson eyes. Her gaze is captivating and full of seductive malice, capable of luring her victims into her dark lure.

She was certain that no one could kill her, for she had many secret offspring that no one knew about.

"So you're this hero guy... I thought you were taller," the vampiress said as she licked her lips, accentuating her trademark fangs.

"I'm not here to chat, I'm here to kill you and end your reign of terror," the hero shouted with a broad grin, drawing his sword.

"HA, HA, HA, HA, HA fool, you can't kill me, I'm immortal," she said, boasting of her immortality.

In a way, her confidence was justified, for who would know that to kill her, they would have to wipe out all of her descendants, even the people she turned for fun were part of her family.

"Give up and die, we already know that to kill you we have to kill all your bastard children first," said one of the hero's companions.

"What?" exclaimed Isabella Carmilla in complete bewilderment.

(How do they know?)

"Yes, we also killed all those guys you had in the cellar," said a woman, this time dressed in a robe patterned with crosses.

She is the light saint of this generation.

(No, it's impossible, even if they're all done with them, he's still missing...).

"We also killed the one who was in the empire, unfortunately we had to wipe out his whole family, but we did it painlessly, his sacrifice will be remembered," said a female knight with golden hair and sky blue eyes.

"DAMN YOU!" Hearing this, Isabella Carmilla was completely enraged and was determined to kill her cruelly to avenge her innocent son.

*After an epic battle

The hero lunged at her with his sacred sword, ready to strike the final blow. Her companions covered his back, facing Isabella's henchmen.

The hero raised his weapon and thrust it into the vampire's heart, hoping to see her disintegrate into dust. But to his surprise, nothing happened. Isabella let out a cry of despair, as she felt her life was over with this attack.

"AAAAAAAAA, I DAMN YOU DAMN HERO!" she cried out in pain as she saw the sword in her chest.

And when he was about to curse the hero again as the last act in his life, something strange happened.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaa ah?" the vampiress exclaimed in bewilderment.

"..."

"..."

They both looked at each other in bewilderment.

¿How could they not be puzzled?, since the vampire's wounds were healing naturally, as if the curse of the descendants was still at work.

"¿What, how is that possible?, haven we killed all her descendants!" exclaimed the saint and the female knight at the same time.

"¿What, how is it possible?, why haven't you died?" replied the hero.

The regressive women looked at each other, not understanding what was going on. The hero drew his sword and thrust it into Isabella's chest again, just in case he had made a mistake.

¿Who knows?, maybe he missed an artery or something.

But nothing happened either, no matter how hard he tried, no matter what method he used, she wouldn't die.

"Hey, that hurts, stop poking me like I'm a fucking balloon!" she protested in bewilderment, pain and disbelief, and with a certain look to the west.

"Bitch, stop being immortal, fucking die!" complained the hero as he thrust the sword again and again.

The two began to argue, while their female companions and henchmen looked on in astonishment. No one knew what to do in this absurd situation.

--

Isabella Carmilla did not die....

She was certain that these women knew the whereabouts of her descendants, even the human hybrid living in the Empire, since her whereabouts were accidentally made public.

So... why didn't she die?

To kill the progenitor Carmilla, it was necessary to kill all of her descendants, from the converted to her blood descendants.

This is because the God of Blood cursed every progenitor born, making it impossible to wipe out all vampires unless their bloodline was wiped out, as a precautionary measure to prevent vampires from becoming extinct.

Thanks to this, Carmilla lived for more than 5000 years without being killed, no matter how many battles she had with humans from different eras, including ancient heroes.

She always had a descendant in hiding in case the worst happened.

(In my past life, the hero was forced to travel across the continent in search of Carmilla's descendants).

It took him 2 years, but he finally managed to defeat her.

The fact that one vampire was still alive when the international community launched a large-scale campaign to hunt her down already gives us a hint that the Butterfly Effect was not to blame for this situation.

--

A few months later...

The hero's companions finally realized that something was wrong, very wrong, in this new life.

Especially Valeria Steele, when mysterious videos appeared on the black market showing her best angles...

Needless to say, her reputation took a nosedive. It didn't matter that the videos confirmed her affair with the hero; the most observant people noticed that this was happening even before Kylo's death.

One of those people was Arabella Celestia, Kylo's adoptive mother and, more importantly, Duchess Stromcrest. No matter how much Anabella, her daughter, tried to stop her, Arabella reacted with great anger.

She was no ordinary person, having once been called the "Demon Princess" for her cold methods before marrying Duke Stromcrest.

(Maybe it's time for you to go to your grandmother, daughter).

I thought as I cradled my one-month-old daughter in my arms.

"And I should entrust this to her personally..." I said to myself, holding a curious golden apple in my hand.

This was the cure for Sherry Stromcrest's illness.
