Chereads / Aerial Chronicles: I'm the fucking villain! / Chapter 3 - The game did not leave me

Chapter 3 - The game did not leave me

"Calm down, calm down," I said to myself to try to reassure myself.

While it's true that Kylo's destiny was to be a jerk, it doesn't mean I should follow it.

Besides, I still have no memory about that party where the NTR starts, although it's probably very close.

(Let's analyze the condition of my body first).

I went back to my bed and sat cross-legged. I closed my eyes and tried to observe my magic core.

The magic core is vital to any mage, as its capacity and quality determine the quantity and strength of spells that can be cast.

(It's fucking tiny)

That was my thought when analyzing my magic core. To make comparisons, the protagonist's magic core is about the size of an orange, and mine? It's the size of a fucking grape.

(Attribute darkness...)

I could tell that around that grape-sized core, there was energy of the darkness element. Basically, this means that this body has an affinity for darkness.

The fact that Kylo is a dark magic user is not news, but according to what is told in the story mode, Kylo got the magic thanks to a demonic contract, since he had no talent as a wizard.

(This could be an easter egg, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he's useless when it comes to magic).

A core the size of a grape can barely store mana, so I can probably only cast one basic spell before I run out of magic power.

(All that's left is to test my physical aptitude, maybe I have some talent as a knight).

[ Starting... ]

"OH", that was my reaction when I saw how those letters suddenly appeared in front of my eyes, at a distance of about 20 cm, just like the interface of the Aerial game.

[ System initialization completed.

[ Select the version of your inventory:

1.0 H

1.0 M

2.5 H

3.0 M

3.0 H

4.0 M

5.0 M ]

(Inventory version?....).

These numbers are very familiar to me because they come from the Aerial Chronicles versions.

The ones ending in "H" are the patches added to the story mode, where you are forced to play as the protagonist, while the ones with the "M" clearly indicate multiplayer, where you can create your own character.

To understand this about the versions, you should know that the game does not allow you to access the multiplayer mode until you finish the main story, which spans from childhood to graduation from the academy.

After the academy, the world enters a "golden age", where countless talents are born. This is used as justification for players to enter the world of Aerial.

The story continues in multiplayer, and the actions of the community have moderate repercussions on the story, which are reflected in world events, such as the zombie outbreak or the invasion of the demonic continent.

Of course, if you don't like multiplayer or simply missed a big event, you can always go back to the story mode, where there are no players and all multiplayer events are adapted for the protagonist to participate. It is important to mention that story mode and multiplayer have separate inventories.

( If it's the inventory I'm thinking of, then it's best to choose version 4.0 M).

This is because I have not made improvements to my character since version 4.0 M, as I was focused on my personal project. Also, I haven't touched the story mode since I completed all the routes, except for one, which I am repulsed by.

[Version 4.0 M has been selected.]

Kylo's status window is deplorable. While it is normal for normal humans to have stats of 1 (except in magic), we are in a game or world, I mean, where knights have stats of 100 or more.

To get a more general idea, Valeria, my current fiancée, has better stats. Her lowest stat is 3, which is perception.

(Though intelligence and perseverance are very important, I must say...).

Intelligence is mainly good for mages, and perseverance increases your ability to withstand physical training.

(Really... Why does this guy have such an illogical combination of stats? Also, why is his race: ¿¿Human??)

Well, anyone would doubt this guy was a human knowing the stupid things he's going to do, but other than that, it's pretty strange.

"It doesn't matter much, let's rather look at the inventory."

When I thought of the inventory, a familiar grid where my inventory was in the game immediately appeared, and upon seeing it, a big smile appeared on my face.

[Philosopher's Stone x99 (Mythical)]

[Holy Mercy Necklace (Mythical) (Refinement 20)]

[Chaos Bringer's Sword (Mythic) (Refinement 20)]

[Order Bringer's Sword (Mythic) (Refinement 20)]

[Mysterious red gift x99]

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I burst out laughing when I saw my items in the inventory.

You should know that any of my equipment at this point in the story is enough to slaughter thousands of knights, not to mention refinements that are completely focused on criticals and life stealing.

(Let's take out a sword to test...)

I tapped the thumbnail image of the sword to pull it out, as I always did in the game, but this curious announcement popped up.

[You don't have enough knight Nvl to equip this item, besides, if you try to equip it now, you'll probably explode.]

This announcement had a different source than the inventory, denoting that an external entity limited my access to "protect" me.

"It's a bit disappointing, but I was already expecting it."

I wasn't too disappointed, as it works that way in Aerial as well. You must have a certain level to equip equipment of a certain rarity. For mythic equipment, you must have a minimum level of 70 in knight, so if I try to use it now, it's no exaggeration to say that I will explode due to the energy contained in the sword.

But this is not what I care about the most....

[Mysterious red gift x99].

This gift with a simple icon is actually the result of a famous item duplication bug that appeared in the game and I took advantage of it.
