"So where is William?" Roland was in a difficult situation. Being the Knight Captain, the City Lord Liam had entrusted one of his guests, Victoria to him. He was in charge of bringing her around the city and helping her with her investigation.
Who would have expected that she would want to meet his best friend William when he was out of the City? He hadn't informed her about William's departure as he thought that she wouldn't be interested in knowing about William. It was difficult to read or understand what this woman was thinking from her cold personality and stoic face.
To be honest, Roland missed William a lot. He had kind of gotten used to spending most of his free time during the day with William and hanging out with him. So when William wasn't there, he felt quite lonely.
