Even though the Festival of Light had been postponed by a week, nobody seemed upset or dissatisfied. In fact, the atmosphere was one of pure joy. Smiles adorned everyone's faces as the city of Emberfall had finally recovered from the terror imposed by Seraphine. Tonight, the residents gathered on either side of the Azure River, which ran through the heart of the city, splitting it neatly in half. At the city's core, two lush green fields and small hills flanked the river, serving as the perfect stage for the festivities.
Both banks of the river were teeming with people. The crowd was so large that losing someone in it would be like searching for a diamond in a coal mine—nearly impossible.
