In the middle of the night, the savior of the millions swung from one tree branch to another deep in the forest. Chronos was trying to catch up to William, but unfortunately, the distance between William and Chronos only kept increasing.
Even though William had stated that he would hold back against his teacher before the race started, it seemed like he had the upper hand. William had suppressed his power to level three Ascender. Both of them were on the same level, yet Chronos couldn't catch up to William.
Seeing how fast William was moving away from Chronos and was widening the distance between them, he had no choice but to use some questionable techniques.
