The day after Chronos left______
"Grandpa, it's nice to see that you're in good health." The last time William saw Bardin was when he was under the control of Seraphine. Seraphine had mind-controlled Bardin into attacking William. Fortunately, The City Lord Liam had managed to stop Bardin. But while doing so, Liam nearly killed his best friend.
From what William had heard from Chronos, Liam's attack put Bardin in a coma for about 11 days. Once Bardin regained consciousness, he made a long journey to another city with his seriously injured body within the Night Empire. Chronos told William that it took Bardin more than two months to fully recover. If he wasn't a level 2 Ascender then Bardin would have died that day.
