"We're nearing a settlement, and it's getting late. We should start moving," Lia intervened, approaching Cristian with concern etched on her face. "Are you alright?" She inquired, her eyes locking onto his.

"I'll manage," he replied, masking the fact that while he wasn't physically injured, the North Guardian's blows had left a lingering impact.

The rhythmic sound of their steeds traversing the forest path echoed alongside their steeds' impatient neighs.

"It's frustrating that we have to retreat when we're so close," Beowulf grumbled under his breath.

"You mean this?" Cristian revealed a shimmering blue orb, stunning the group.

"How did you come by that!" Beowulf exclaimed in astonishment.
