Alessia turned to Aurora, who lowered her head and then sighed. "Promise not to talk about that ever again and we're good."
"What about Master Athelstone?" Aurora asked.
"I know he needs you and I didn't really mean that."
"Uhm…"
Raising her head as a smile formed on her lips, Aurora couldn't explain her relief. To her, Alessia held a higher spot in Cristian's heart so she was actually frightened when Alessia got so angry.
Shortly after, Aurora sat on the edge of a king-sized bed, her fingers wrapped around Cristian's wrist. "What happened to him?" Aurora hissed, her pink eyes flashing with a dreadful light.
"His mana pool suffered damage due to the distance he traveled. He's a dragon; what would take a month would only be a day for him."
Turning to Lia, whom she had rarely seen, Aurora clenched her left hand. She was about to retaliate but held herself yet it showed in her red face.
