Cristian had not eaten his and took it here only to wait all night without sharing a meal with her as they usually did. At least eating the meat together had almost become a ritual.
"He actually told her everything that happened on the mission. I haven't felt such a burning urge to hug him like I did last night." Sheila said.
They could see Cristian was awake, still gazing at Nebula but he seemed to be gone. His sharp sense would have made him turn a long time ago but there he sat.
Zelda and Catalina were absolutely floored to see this part of Cristian. His devotion softened their hearts.
"He knows she's a monster, right? She'll be criticized by the public. To date, I haven't met a single person who doesn't loathe monsters, not after the great war."
"I know." Catalina was a bit shocked when Cristian suddenly answered. His voice was a bit hoarse.
