Her alluring pale skin made her flushed cheeks more obvious. It was glossy, almost like a plump, ripe tomato.
"Oh, you don't want to marry me?" Stroking his chin, Cristian said, diverting his gaze to the women among the ranks of the Water clan trainees.
"I never said that!" Sheila exclaimed, directing his face toward her. "Jealous eh?" He said this, finding himself enchanted by her glowing eyes.
Those blue runes glowing in her eyes showed she was about to cast a spell.
"Tsk, I'm not." Sheila clicked her tongue but couldn't hide her face, for he held her chin gently, then brought her face closer before pecking her forehead.
"You make my heart throb," Cristian whispered. His words weren't a joke because Sheila could vividly hear his purple gem-like heart glowing like a beating heart.
A dull but audible beat rang from within, making her blink as she felt overwhelmed for a moment.
