Lewis thought about the encyclopedia and it appeared in front of him.
'Can I see the items inside my storage ring' Lewis thought and a page opened.
[Necromancy book]
[Ordinary crystal ×54]
[Healing potion]
'54 crystals, that makes 54 bombs, I just have to ask Alfred to teach me how to infuse Mana into the crystal, this would save me lots of fighting and would be good for a surprise attack' Lewis smiled.
"Stats" Lewis muttered and the first page opened.

"The wolves must be low leveled, each of them gave me 30 XP, so I got a total of 600 XP, It seems Xavier's XP also increased by 600, I'm sure I would kill tons of low leveled beasts in the wastelands" Lewis muttered as he walked back.
When he got back, Alfred was already up and digging the ground close to the tent, Lewis got closer and saw three more holes around the tent where Alfred already dug.
"I thought you were going to sleep there, I hope none of your things are in the tent?" Alfred asked.
"No I don't think so, can I ask what you are doing?"
"I'm going to conceal the tent," Alfred said as he placed crystals into all the four holes he dug and covered them up.
"I hope we actually reach where the plague is this time instead of those stupid beasts" Lillian spoke.
"I just hope we don't come across them," Alfred said as he held two of his fingers close to his mouth and muttered some incantations.
Lewis turned around and his jaws dropped, the tent was no longer there, more like it was never here in the first place, every trace of the tent was gone, Lewis moved towards where the tent was and passed tight through, he didn't encounter any resistance.
"Only high-level mages can see the tent, others would pass right through," Alfred said as he began to draw another magic circle on the ground.
"So which way to the wastelands?" Lewis asked Lillian.
"We'll reach the wastelands in 3 days if we go on foot, 1 day and some hours if we use a carriage," Lillian said.
"What!! So we're using a carriage right?" Lewis asked.
"No, carriages are too expensive so we're going on foot," Lillian said chuckling slightly.
"Huh!! so we'll be walking for the next three days, why didn't anyone tell me, I can't walk for three whole days, my legs can't take it" Lewis complained.
"It's not that bad," Lillian said still chuckling.
"It's not funny, you have probably done it more times than I can count but I can't, Alfred why aren't you saying anything?" Lewis asked.
"That's because she's pulling your leg... I'm drawing a teleportation circle to take us to the wastelands" Alfred spoke and Lewis turned towards Lillian.
"It was fun wasn't it," Lillian said.
"For you right, it wasn't fun to think about" Lewis sneered.
"Okay, I'm done," Alfred said and Lillian walked to his side, Lewis did the same and Alfred held both of them.
"Here we go," Alfred said.
Lewis had never used a teleportation circle before so he didn't know what to expect, he held Alfred tight and closed his eyes just in case.
"Why are you holding me like that, we are already here," Alfred said and Lewis opened his eyes.
"This is where teleportation magic fades, beyond the land you can't use any sort of teleportation magic," Alfred said.
"Then the plague is more serious than I thought" Lewis mumbled under this breath.
"We have no time to waste, let's move," Alfred said as he opened his storage ring.
He handed Lillian her bow and quiver along with her arrows which she placed on her back, Alfred also handed both of them ten health potions each and handed Lewis five Mana potions.
"Mind you, the potion uses a lot of energy to heal and restore Mana, so be careful and use them when we have a safe place to rest," Alfred said.
"They are houses here, do people live here?" Lewis asked.
"Once, but that was before the lands began to decay, now it's just a refuge for beasts, those mountains over there are our targets," Alfred said as he pointed toward the mountains quite far from them.
The three of them walked through the vast land looking around, the air was thick with silence, broken only by the distant whisper of wind through rusted metal and the soft crunch of their footsteps on the cracked earth.
Lewis couldn't help but wonder what happened here, the wasteland stretched as far as his eyes could see, a barren landscape devoid of color and life.
The ground was a mosaic of parched earth and fissures, and a thick layer of dust covered everything. The skeletal remains of buildings rose from the ground like sentinels of a forgotten era, their shattered windows reflecting the sunlight.
Lewis's gaze wandered across the desolate panorama, taking in the twisted metal, shattered glass, and decaying remnants of what was once a city.
The three of them continued walking without encountering a beast or any living creature till they reached a large city, a place that was now reduced to a labyrinth of debris and memories.
"Watch yourself around here, the beasts here are not that powerful but they make up for it in numbers," Alfred said and Lewis brought out the sword he was using to train as they moved forward.
Lewis's foot kicked up a cloud of dust as they moved further, but to their surprise, they came across dead bodies of kobolds, and from their injuries, they were slain by a sword and had their crystals removed.
"This is fresh someone was just here, a human," Alfred said as looked around, "Let's move"
