"Pleaseee forgive me pleasee I couldn't sell all the ecstasy in time!!" he started begging for forgiveness again.
Rage got the better of me as I grabbed his hair and pulled him close to my face.
"You motherfucker I don't fucking care that you couldn't sell the stuff in time, I care that you almost leaked my fucking identity dumb fucking retard!" I shouted at him, menace dripping from my words "And don't fucking talk about me or drugs in public or I'll kill you for real, do you understand!" i threaten him
"Y-Yes, I understand," he muttered, his voice trembling with fear.
"Good. Now get your ass out of here," I commanded, releasing my grip on his hair.
Marko quickly scurried out of the bathroom, making his way home. I took a moment to compose myself, washing my face to cool the boiling anger that coursed through me. Looking in the mirror i said out loud, "I can't let my guard down for a second, especially with people like Marko around."
Leaving the bathroom calm, I returned to the room. Immediately Eman gave me a nod, signaling that the girls didn't suspect me, so I sighed in relief and sat down next to Eman, taking a sip of my beer, trying to relax and enjoy the rest of the night.
"Hahaha at least I'm not sitting alone now." I joked.
Ignoring my joke Mia's curious gaze fell upon me. "Where is your friend?"
"Oh, I saw him leave the building as I left the bathroom. It seemed he was in a hurry or something,"
"Ah I see well he wasn't cute, so I don't care anyways let's enjoy the rest of the night." Mia responded dismissively.
A thought popped in my head, "What a fucking whore and a dumbass for being fooled by the dumbest in the world──Eman!"
"Cheers!" we all exclaimed, raising our beers. Immediately the room filled with laughter and enjoyment, The girls started singing their ass off while me and Eman just sat there drinking beer and talking to each other. Hours passed, filled with laughter and song, until the girls eventually bid their farewell. As the karaoke room door closed behind them, without a second Eman shifted his position, sitting opposite me with a serious expression. It was time to get down to business.
"Dionis, here is all the money I managed to collect. Marko should be able to sell the remaining stock within a couple of days," Eman stated, placing the stack of money on the table, the cash amounting to $4300.
"It's understandable. I don't blame him, selling ecstasy on the streets is a lot of stress, and it takes time." I began, surprising Eman with a level of understanding. However, his surprise swiftly turned into fear as my tone shifted. "But you, you fucking imbecile! Why did you bring him with you? I almost got caught because of you, you monkey!"
"I-I'm sorry, man. It was my mistake, and it won't happen again," Eman apologized, placing his clenched fists on his quads while his gaze remained fixed on the floor.
"You better make sure it doesn't," I warned him sternly, raising my finger.
Silently, Eman left the karaoke bar, leaving me alone, sitting there in solitude. Leaning back against the couch, I took a sip of my beer while my mind began to wander, and I muttered to myself.
"Fuck I started all this shit to chase the thrill that my bully brought into my life. But now, those desires are fading away, leaving behind a sense of emptiness in my pursuit"
...
"Well I can't turn back now."
all of those books I read and my genius mind couldn't comprehend that I wasn't that deep in, and I could leave without anyone chasing my head. Alas, I was just a kid at that time.
I think the biggest mistake I made in my entire life is that I didn't leave all of it behind me that day.
...
I slowly stood up and cleaned the entire room which was unusual behavior for me. Usually I make or manipulate someone to do it for me. After throwing all the garbage in the trash can I grabbed my jacket and left the room, making my way towards the exit door,
"Hope you had a pleasant time, sir," the receptionist chimed in, his voice laced with a warm smile.
I returned his smile but left without uttering a word. Once I arrived home, consumed by the haze of intoxication, I promptly fell into a deep slumber.
The following morning I woke up feeling like shit,
"These past few days, I've been drowning myself in pleasure, but now it's time to get serious, nobody can carry my work beside me." I muttered to myself, still groggy as I sat on the edge of the bed.
I stood up from my bed and got ready for school, like I do every day. As customary, two men were waiting for me to accompany me to school.
the day at school was incredibly boring, and I ended up dozing off through most of it. The school day ended and I sluggishly made my way to the cafeteria. However, upon seeing the abomination of a food being served, I quickly turned around without a second glance, leaving the school premise. Walking back home my phone unexpectedly began to ring, moving me out of my tired state. Curiosity piqued, making me retrieved my phone to answer the call.
"Oh, fuck. Why is Adem calling me?" I questioned inwardly, a tinge of reluctance coloring my thoughts. Nevertheless, I reluctantly answered the call.
"Hello" he greeted me.
"Hello Adem, how have you been lately" I greeted him back, trying to sound as professional as possible.
"I've been well, but I didn't call you for small talk. It's about the ecstasy," Adem cut to the chase.
"What about it?" I asked, a sense of unease already gripping me.
"We need it as soon as possible, preferably by next week," Adem stated, his words further tightening the knot of dread in my stomach.
As soon as he said that, I regretted all the fun I had been having in the past few days because I knew I could have bought the ecstasy instead of having fun.
"R-Right, you'll have it by next week" I replied, attempting to exude confidence even tho i wasn't sure i could provide it.
"Great! See you later, The Nameless," Adem bid farewell before abruptly ending the call.
As soon as I stepped through the front door, I immediately dropped my backpack in the corridor and collapsed onto the couch. I reached for my phone and dialed Eman's number.
"Yo, Eman," I greeted, a sense of urgency lacing my voice.
"What's up, Dionis?" Eman responded, his voice tinged with curiosity.
"Marko needs to sell the ecstasy by tomorrow," "Marko needs to sell the ecstasy by tomorrow," I urgently informed him.
"What? How is he supposed to do that?" Eman asked, sounding concerned.
"Fucking hell, Eman, why the fuck do you think I gave you all the men under your command?" I snapped, frustrated at his lack of planning.
"Ohhh now I get it, aight bro, I'll divide the ecstasy among all the men, so they can sell it faster" Eman acknowledged, realization dawning upon him.
After bidding each other farewell, Eman set out to ensure the remaining ecstasy was sold. Meanwhile, I contacted Seba to arrange a deal.
"Hey Seba, it's me,".
"The Nameless?" Seba's surprise in his tone. "What can I do for you?"
"I need to get more ecstasy," I stated plainly.
"How much are you looking to buy?" Seba asked.
"I need $4500 worth of it," I replied.
"That's a lot, I'll need some time to make preparations before I can sell it to you."
"How long do you need?" I probed, growing increasingly impatient.
"About one to two weeks," Seba said.
"That's too long," I said, feeling frustrated. "I need it within a week. If you can't deliver, I'll have to find another distributor."
"I'll see what I can do," Seba said, sounding annoyed.
"Great"
As I hung up the phone, I couldn't help but feel anxious. "Fuck, what am I going to do if Seba can't deliver on time?"
Days passed, and my anxiety only grew each moment of the day. I kept awaiting Seba's call but it never came. While I stayed shut in my house all day like a loser Eman and his crew worked like beasts, managing to sell the remaining stock, leaving me with $4500 clutched tightly in my hands.
"Yea I have the money, but the fuck am I supposed to do with it if Seba ain't calling?!"
I was losing hope as I had only two days to get the ecstasy but that day in school my phone began to shake, as soon as I felt the vibration, In an instant, I bolted out of the classroom, disregarding the teacher's dismayed shouts. Racing through the school corridors, I reached the bathroom, where I retrieved my phone from my pocket with trembling hands. Without even checking the caller ID, I clutched the phone tightly, uttering a prayer under my breath.
"God if you are real then please, let it be Seba, PLEASE!" I pleaded, my heart pounding in my chest.
With cautious anticipation, I turned the phone around, and my eyes widened in disbelief. It was none other than Seba!
"Hey The Nameless, I've got good news and bad news," he said. "I managed to get the ecstasy you wanted, and it will be ready for pickup tomorrow."
"HAHAAHA fuck yeaaa i fuckin love you... Ahem, that's great news, Seba. Thanks for letting me know," I replied, my excitement over the roof. However, I was also curious about the bad news. "What's the bad news tho?"
