David amplified his body with mana, and we quickly hurtled through the trees. When he saw a group of goblins, He covered his goblin knife in a mana, and he quickly traced a bloody trail across each of the goblin's necks.
Within an hour, we had both killed 49 goblins and just had to kill one more to move up. When we found the last little group, I nodded to David. "Hopefully the Tower does not split us up, but it might."
He nodded. "If it does, we will meet again before we reach the top of the tower."
"That's right."
I killed a goblin by sending a thread of mana through his eye and to his brain where it exploded. David was rushing towards another goblin as a white portal opened up in front of me. Technically it was the tower system that had opened the portal, but it used mana from the well of my soulscape. I smiled and then walked through the portal.
'I need to get more mana after I get out of the tower.'
