As we arrived at the twig base, which had 4 foundations, 4 roofs, 7 walls, and 1 doorway, the glowing icon disappeared. It was just tall enough for us to step through. I wish that it had been two walls high, but I had not made the base.
Inside the small chest in their base there were some good resources and even some raw metal. There was also a basic workbench and a furnace, both of which would definitely be very handy. I interacted with them both using my system and apparently, they could be picked up.
We geared up and distributed weapons. The woman and the previous leader were given the crossbow and compound bow. Isot kept his bow, I kept my crossbow, and the buff Mexican kept his spear. We headed out of the base and towards the entrance of the cave.
The cave had a very narrow and short entrance. We could walk through the entrance, but it was nearly a tight fit. The Mexican entered the cave first with a torch in his left hand and his spear in the right. There were snores from inside the cave.
As I followed behind the Mexican, I saw the huge furry creature that was starting to be illuminated. It was a giant sloth. It looked to be about 15 feet long and about half as tall. It was curled up, so it was hard to tell, but suffice it to say that it was very big.
I loaded my crossbow and waited for the others to ready their weapons. The Mexican raised his spear and was preparing to throw it at the sloth's head. When I saw that we were all ready, I squeezed the trigger of my crossbow. The arrow released with a loud "TWANG" and three other arrows flew from the ranged weapons behind me. The Mexican also threw his own spear.
As all the projectiles flew through the air, the enormous sloth's eyes opened at the loud sounds that had been made. As soon as the nearest eye was open, it was pierced by two arrows. One arrow flew over its head and the last pierced through its ear.
The spear that the Mexican had thrown flew true and it hit the sloth's eye that had already been struck by two arrows. The bone of the eye socket was crushed as the spear bit through the eye and was buried deep within the brain of the sloth. As soon as it had woken, it was forever put to sleep.
A blue system window appeared in front of me.

I walked over to the body of the megatherium. It had a drop. It was an Uncommon sigil. I took it and then turned around towards the others. "Do any of you have a hatchet from the people we killed?"
Isot stepped forward and handed me one. "I have three metal pickaxes and two hatchets. I got one of the pickaxes from my beginner's sigil while the others came from the battle that we just fought in. I have a lot of soulstones too."
I took the hatchet. "Okay, give the other tools to the other three. I am going to harvest this corpse and the rest of you can begin to harvest wood, stick, and fiber for some wooden structures so that we can have a very defensible base in this cave."
Isot nodded and I began to harvest the megatherium.
It took me several minutes, but I got lots and lots of hide and bone.

When I became overweight, it became noticeably harder to move, think, and I even felt my stamina being drained incredibly fast. I could feel blood moving to my head as though my heart was pumping much too fast.
I hurried to the twig base and ignored everyone until I got to the small chest. Once there, I deposited the resources I gathered and I threw out my old basic stone ax since I had a better tool.
With that out of the way, I put both of my two level up points into mana sense once again. As I allocated them, I started to see little motes of light: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. I assumed they were motes of mana.

With those things out of the way, I went outside to help them gather the necessary materials to transfer our base to the cave.
