Chapter 9 - Ticket

With Kim's sudden disappearance, the group of now three were left stunned. They were fully expecting some roulette to spawn right in front of Kim, not teleport him!

Kim's vision slowly returned to normal, bright yellow orbs floating off of his body into the vast white space. He stood upon a platform that floated about, accompanied by white furniture and a glass table with a vase complete with purple dandelions. He stepped forward, taking a seat in the white chair in front of him. Unfortunately, the teleportation didn't come with automatic cleaning services as the green blood that splattered onto his clothes stained the white seat.

After a few seconds of silence, a figure was conjured from thin air, similar to Kim. A swarm of golden lights flew through the room, clouding his vision. As they cleared, a figure wearing a perfectly tailored white suit with silver hair drooping down to their shoulders appeared. The person was a woman, without a doubt.

Her looks were unlike anything Kim has witnessed in his life. Even in fiction. Perfectly trimmed eyebrows, glowing purple eyes with a sharp and attractive face. Each step was loud, the light taps of her heel's echoing through the white space.

She took a seat on the two-seater couch across from the expressionless Kim who was still in his bloodthirsty state. Because of this, his red eyes glowed more fiercely than before, his fangs poking out of his mouth even while it was closed. "Y'know, many people were surprised when such talent was revealed during this tutorial. You're a rare one." She said with a gleeful smile on her face as she crossed her leg over the other. "Am I supposed to be happy?" Kim replied, irritated.

Sure, if he consented to this he would be happy. But did he want this? No. He felt cold. Killing living things, regardless if they were monsters or not felt horrible. Every time he felt his nails pierce an enemy, stabbing into their organs he felt a sliver of his humanity getting stolen from him. The lady tilted her head, confused. "Of course you should, you wanted to be here, no? Or did you lose a friend?"

Kim's eyes narrowed in slight confusion, although more anger. "What makes you think I want to be here? I never signed up for this, I was randomly thrown out of my room into some portal, then into a random forest. I was forced to kill things I didn't want to, I even accidentally saved rapists. Did you think I wanted that?" He rebutted as he angrily stood up, his voice filled with ill-intent.

The eyes of the beautiful lady widened before closing them. "Sigh, you're from world-E42... Earth, correct?" The tone she said it made Kim even angrier, something about it made it seem like this was normal to her. However, he froze. Why was his world named? Why was she even here?"

Kim released a sigh and sat back down on the green-stained seat. "Yeah, I am. Why?"

Kim squinted as he saw a slightly pained emotion on the woman's face, looking away in shame it seemed to him. "Your world was forced into this, in a way. It was either your world gets destroyed, or well, you enter to birth warriors." Kim was slightly relieved about her tone as it changed into more of a sad one; although he knew it could've easily been faked. Yet, he was further thrown into a spiral of confusion. Forced? Facing destruction? Birthing warriors?

"Can you explain this more to me? I mean, facing destruction, entering whatever the fuck this is, and giving birth to warriors? What?" He said in a confused tone, shaking his head. He slightly rubbed his head, a slight migraine forming.

"I'm sorry, I was also forced like you. I can't spare details as it's frowned upon but not a rule, however, I will tell you this.

You are a talent only seen a few hundred times a generation out of trillions of players. You and your friend, Apollo, have the best classes possible. Vampire is only a ruby class because a certain someone thought red fit it more. But in truth, both are the emerald class in terms of power and potential. And to tell you how powerful that is, there are eight classes. You've already figured out the first 6. Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, then Emerald. Those are the only class rarities you can possibly obtain in the tutorial, Diamond, the 2nd highest, is only possible through evolving, same as Amythest. Now do you understand how rare this is? It's normal for a ruby talent to show up at least once per world, but an emerald and a ruby that should be an emerald is practically unheard of, only the 19th time in existence, and that is multiple billion years.

Now you have a grasp of your potential, and to be honest, you have one of the best classes to exist. I mean, you have magical and physical benefits, hypnosis, and all six of your senses are heightened to a degree that only classes that specialize in a singular scent could match. If you're lucky enough, you'll find a way to be immune to the sun. And once that happens... You'll be unbeatable, supposing you don't slack off."

Kim soaked in the baffling information, his mouth agape as he registered it in his mind. His brain stopped functioning from pure shock. The lady gave him a few minutes to soak in the information, at the end of which he was ready to ask a bit more. "Okay first off, saving my world from what? You can at least tell me that. And two, who are you?"

"My name is Chrysanthe Vee Mechio. I'm a human but not from your world. And yes, there is life outside of Earth. After multiple centuries, I was able to earn a spot as Tutorial Overseer. And now for what could be destroying your world... There are a lot of things.

Earth is highly technologically advanced, and mana has not been awakened yet, so it would only take one Ruby State warrior to take over your world, assuming they have at least a silver class. Of course, some monsters could threaten to take it. Honestly, you being chosen for the tutorial was luck and you don't even have to go back to your world to save it, it's optional. You'll be able to travel across solar systems, fight, have wars, and all that. It's a vast universe, you can do many things. But you get the idea."

Kim looked into the roof, or sky of the white area he was in. 'Monsters, Warriors huh.' A chuckle slipped out of his mouth before he let out a sigh. "That's certainly something." He gloomily said. He reached his hand down and grabbed his ticket, displaying it to Chrysanthe. "How do I use it?" He asked.

Chrysanthe took the ticket and ripped it, instantly causing a bright sphere of light to emerge from the ripped ticket. Kim had to shield his eyes from the light it emitted or he would surely go blind. A few seconds later, the light dimmed and Kim was able to see again, and to his shock what he pulled was not to his expectations.

It was a small piece of brown paper that was neatly folded, akin to a scroll.

Miniature lightning crackled around it and made it intimidating to touch. Reluctantly, Kim reached his hand forward and grabbed it, unfolding it with haste. His eyes widened and he could see the smirk of amusement plastered onto her face. "Well, certainly not bad, but not that good I guess. There was better." Kim's jaw nearly dropped, the item in front of him not being good? He was convinced he heard wrong.

"A sub-element of the sun affinity is JUST not bad?" He said with disbelief as he stared at the scroll.

"There's better. And honestly, it's a good second element to wield but it's not that good. But for your current level, it's like a blessing by a god."

Kim nodded. "Damn right, it is."

After learning how to learn and store the scroll in the built-in inventory granted by the system, he finally stood up and was prepared to leave. "I'll tell you one more thing, Kim."

He turned around, his eyebrow arched. "Learn to use aura quick. Your friend got a cheat skill that allowed him to use aura, he just hasn't realized he can apply it to anything. If you learn how to use aura, your biggest weakness which is your range will no longer be a problem."

"What do you-"

Before he could ask her, the familiar golden light enveloped his figure and disappeared, leaving Chrysanthe alone with a smile on her face.

The trio sat in the area of the tree trashed with the bodies of goblins, barely withstanding the prudent smell.

Suddenly, the same event that happened when he disappeared reoccurred, and just a few seconds later, Kim was back. The three instantaneously released a sigh of relief and stood up, walking to their squadmate. "Well, I got a sub-element. Lightning." He casually said, flexing the scroll with a smile on his face. "So blood and lightning... That's not fair now is it?" Apollo jokingly whined, followed by a sigh afterward. "I was told that you could apply aura to anything, but you think you can only do it with your sword, Apollo. Try it on your hand." Apollo's eyes widened, slightly tilting his head in confusion. "Okay listen, when you use your aura skill on your sword, replicate that feeling but on your hand, and don't use the skill." Kim simply explained; At least the best he could.

Apollo raised his hand slightly and concentrated, his eyes filled with determination as he released a deep breath. His eyes closed, the moment still. As Kim expected from Apollo, a faint white sheen in a cloud-like state formed around his hand. It was translucent and weak, however after such a long fight, he would not expect it to be potent. "And if it's like video games..." Kim said, stopping mid-sentence to lock eyes with Apollo. ""It'll also strengthen our bodies!""
