It was finally nightfall in Elvendell. The twilight sky, fikled with stars, cast a beautiful silver glow over the eleven city. Shadows stretched along cobblestone streets and the gentle hum of night creatures filled the air.
In the peaceful night, two figures moved through the winding paths of the elven city, their cloaks pulled tight around them. Under the enchantments disguising their true forms, Vorpax and Salden blended with the elven people.
Vorpax, his eyes burning with endless energy, fidgeted continuously. He kept tugging at his hood and shifting from foot to foot as they walked. "Where are we going?" he whispered for what felt like the hundredth time, his voice filled with impatience. "We should be preparing for the attack. It's almost time!"
