As Rain approached the rocky formations to get a closer look, a sense of unease settled over the group. The mugus seemed to writhe and move with an uncanny life of their own thanks to the darkness. The eerie sight made everyone feel as though something might crawl out from them at any moment.
The sea folk among them, who were accustomed to rocky formations underwater, couldn't help but feel a bit troubled by the reactions. To them, these formations were reminiscent of their underwater homes, yet the land-dwellers seemed to view them with a mixture of fear and discomfort.
"It is just the shadows, guys," Rain said. "They aren't really moving. You guys worry too much."
"You seem to be moving in a very particular direction. Can we ask why?" Regis asked.
"I am just following my intuition and following the advice of the relics now and then," Rain shrugged.
