The brain and spinal cord make up the central nervous system. The brain is responsible for processing information and generating responses. Within the brain, different regions are dedicated to specific functions, such as motor control, sensory processing, and cognitive functions. Such functions probably would work differently from beings of different places, but the demon king still could control them equally.

Regardless, the base of the demon king was a labyrinth that had some uses, but the concentration of bacteria there was too high for them to actually use it, so they soon returned to the previous one. Before long, Jori's group arrived, and then they joined them and heard the news.

"So, the number of enemies is decreasing, but we still have a long way to go," Jori said. "We can produce our water, but our food is scarce, if we can call it food."
