Keeping up to my own end of the deal was probably the best thing to do right now, but it was merely a temporary solution. To really put Anna down I knew I had to go big with my decisions and take big risks, and one of those risks involved telling Liam everything about Anna and his son.
The intention wasn't to throw chaos into the family, my plan was to provoke Anna and get her to act rashly. Inevitably, Liam would confront her with this accusation whether I ask him to or not. He was a hot-tempered man, and this sort of thing triggered him.
Once disoriented by my actions, I was certain that Anna would act rashly and try to break our pact as well. And for that, I had contingency plans laid out for her. Without a doubt, Anna would immediately go after Amelie. In her mind she has nothing to lose anymore, and she would act on the notion: "If I can't have him, nobody will."
