Anna's predictions were true; "If you're so hell bent on meeting her, then try your luck at the city park. She has a child, she's bound to take him outside once in a while."
It's been two days since I began my wait, and today has been my lucky day. However, things didn't go the way I intended them to go. I knew Amelie wouldn't smile if we met, but I didn't expect her to flare up the way she did. It didn't matter though, I was happy she was doing fine, that was all I cared about.
Amelie probably won't come back to the pack for a long time. She wanted nothing to do with me, and genuinely wanted me as far away as possible from her. After everything I'd done to her, it was only natural that she'd feel this way.
Aaron and I spent another hour at the park before I finally drove us home. Liam was away like usual, while Anna was in the living room, preoccupied with the newspaper in her hands.
