Casmir
With Liam and the others gone, the air in London seemed lighter. A heavy sense of freedom coated the atmosphere, and for the first time in a while I considered myself to be really happy. My life wasn't perfect, but it was going smoothly for the first time in a long while.
It felt as though all my problems were gone, and in some sense, I considered them to be really gone. My marriage wasn't exactly the best, and Melanie and I still maintained our policy of an open relationship. However, I loved spending time with my daughter. She was the only one in the world capable of making me feel genuine happiness. Had Liam and the rest still been around, I wouldn't have been able to focus solely on my family and work alone.
