Grocery shopping was one of the many things I handled during the weekend. Cairo Festival City Mall was one of the biggest shopping malls around and had a lot of the items I needed in stock. While I handled shopping, Hassan often took Junior to the park for some father and son time. We were often busy during the weekdays, the weekend was really the only time we can really be with Junior from the start of the day to the end.
I entered the bustling shopping mall and just like every other weekend it was filled with men, women and children. It was like this every other weekend, and if I didn't hurry to get everything I wanted, very soon they'd all run out.
I moved swiftly to the vegetable section of the mall and that had been the last place I'd expected to cross paths with the woman in front of me. Tension hung in the air, as if an impending storm loomed, while Anna and I remained frozen in place out of shock.
