The last thing I expected to receive after getting discharged from the hospital was an invitation to Junior's wedding. It was made clear that only a few people had been invited, and I was genuinely surprised to see that I was on the invite list. After everything that had happened, I presumed that Olivia and Junior would want me as far as possible from their relationship, but surprisingly that hadn't been the case.
I stared at the paper in my hand for another five minutes before finally settling it down on the table. My feelings were conflicted, and I had no idea how to feel. One side of me felt happy for Junior, while the majority felt bad for him. I had no idea what was going on in Olivia's mind when she decided to do what she did that night, but I didn't feel right with the idea that Junior was getting married to her without knowing the truth.
"Is something on your mind, Aaron?" Melisandre asked, her eyes peering into mine inquisitively.
