I stilled. My hand working on that project of mine had stopped as did every other process.
A scowl echoing hard in my face as I looked to the empty city about the darkness above me.
There was nothing here. Nor was there anything that I could touch. Only an endless dark abyss that seemed to be ever growing in its potency.
Of course that was the more poetic way of saying that everyone had abandoned me, that I was left alone to stay within this confined place.
My abilities were suited for that and I had no problem with such a thing happening. Only that I wanted to go out and try my own inventions.
But I could be happy with just testing them here. After all there wasn't anything that wasn't built by my hand here.
Or at least didn't play a little part in the creation of.
So I knew how to fix them all and worst case scenario I would just make them anew.
I had the resources after all.
