My eyes droop. A bone deep tiredness surfacing for the first time in… a long time. My yawn is big, and I find myself hurrying through the passage, leading the two towards my little house.
It was made to be as durable as possible - It's mine after all - and to be as comfortable as possible. The doors open and I'm greeted to a cold emptiness. My feet echo against the tile, and soon my bedroom makes itself known.
"I'm heading to bed… You can do whatever, just don't make too much trouble."
The pillow is so comfortable. And my eyes are so, so heavy. A small snore. A hug that turns into an embrace. And finally… finally… I can sleep.
I don't really know what the other two had done. Probably finding some guest room if I had to guess. Not that it matters… I snuggle deeper into that embrace… finding my yawns growing bigger and bigger.
