Was this my sub race. A fox. It would explain my mischievous streak and the abilities that I had gained.
I mean the most obvious would be |Essense| it was made by |life| and |blood|. Of course blood had nothing to do with being a fox but |Life| did.
It was something that the fox was sort of symbolized with. The fox, or Kitsune for other people, are closely associated with the god Inari, who my namesake came from.
Inari, whether depicted as male or female, has domains in food and agriculture which while some might say that is completely different from life I would beg to differ.
As life is something that needs energy, and that energy is taken from where. It is taken from food, from grain and crops.
Therefore it is not a stretch to say that the fox could be a sign of life. That your crops would grow, that you would harvest much food. And in doing so give you the energy to live your life for another year.
