When my eyes opened, the depth of which they seemed to see. A true and utter realization.
That truly… truly something significant and great had happened.
Yet just as that realiziation placed itself over my heart. So too did another place their gaze against mine.
Eyes so golden in intention. An endless pain that seemed not to dissipate in the slightest. Despite the utter absurdity that would be.
For she… she was…
It was as if she had daggers flayed under her skin. Where a pain so great one could feel it with a single gaze towards her expression.
But just as she was pained, so too was she who held her. The girl that towered over with a grimace.
A cruel smile that restrained itself. The sadistic pleasure she would normally take.
Within the pain of another, it was gone. Replaced with a grimaced dimple that seemed to gaze within the pain and despair of the one she carried.
