A wave of uncontrollable fear rippled through every man present in the room as Ivan's words hung in the air. Their hands quivered, and their mouths went dry, as if a universal realization had dawned upon them: utter the wrong words again, and certain death awaited them.
Azonai, however, remained unaffected by such fear. Ivan was well aware that his low-ranked skill could not sway someone as strong as Azonai. This understanding was what had prompted Ivan to employ other methods to instill fear in the tyrant king.
