"Elysium…!?"
Why is he here?
We all went on alert, but the situation was apparently more serious
than we had initially expected.
"—Yo, Savior. We met again."
"Shangarula…"
Following Elysium, other saints appeared one after another,
surrounding us.
Other than 'Fist' Saint Shangarula and 'Axe' Saint Boreios, who we
had previously fought with at the dwarven village, there were also a
dark-skinned man—who was probably the 'Bow' Saint—and a man
covered with hard scales and had a tail—who appeared to be the
'Spear' Saint.
Lastly.
"—Hi there~, long time no see. Are you doing well?"
"You are…"
The fortune teller I met back at the the port town Ittle.
Why is she with the saints?
When I wore a doubtful face, the woman giggled softly and said, "Let
me introduce myself again. I'm Shiva. The one bestowed with the
rare skill of "Treasure Shield"—'Shield' Saintess Shiva."
""""""Wha!?""""""
As our eyes opened wide in astonishment, the woman—Shiva slowly
walked in my way and said, "It's the truth. Look."
Shoom, glowing particles gathered on her left hand before taking the
form of a shield.
It looked exactly the same way as when Holy Armament manifested.
Does it mean she really is the last saintess we've been looking for? I
was stunned and confused but,
"—Shield Bash!"
――BANG!
"Gh!?"
"""""Exa(-sama)!?"""""
All of a sudden Shiva launched an attack, and I caught it with
gauntlet.
It didn't hold much power, but why did she do that out of
nowhere? As I frowned, she said with a bewitching smile, "You can
take that as a greeting. But you've 'got it' now, haven't you?"
"!"
There I noticed.
The fact that my skill—"Impersonation" copied Shiva's skill when I
had received her attack.
――"False Treasure Shield".
The last of the seven rare skills.
Could it be that she gave it to me on purpose…?
Right then.
"Don't act as you please, vixen."
Rebuke flew over from Elysium.
Then Shiva shrugged her shoulders and turned around. "I'm just
giving him a greeting, there's nothing wrong with it, right? It may be
for the first and the last time, after all."
"Just keep your mouth shut and fulfil your role."
"Okay, okay, I know." Sighing, Shiva returned to her original position.
They were surrounding us at measured intervals, was it to not let us
escape?
But.
"—Hey, don't think you can do as you please in my territory, demihumans." Fluga-sama stood up, anger laced in her voice.
Then she got off from the altar and faced Elysium in provoking
manner.
"It is an honor to meet you, Goddess of Thunder."
"Ha, don't say something you don't mean. Just be direct and state
your business. But do keep one thing in your mind, I'm not going to
let you off if you touch these guys." Fluga-sama glared at Elysium
while lightning appeared, surrounding her body.
Yet, Elysium said without showing any fear, "Hmm, as expected,
you're standing in our way, eh. We've got no other choice, then."
Elysium put his hand on the tachi on his waist.
"Hou? You're planning to fight with me? Alright, then. I'm gonna put
you all in your places." Fluga-sama put on a fearless smile.
She sure was confident.
But.
"—No, your opponent is not us."
"Ha?"
Stab, Elysium thrusted his blade into the ground.
Then an instant later, a black aura spread out at the feet of the two.
"—Uo!? W-what're these!?"
White arms popped out from it, grabbing Fluga-sama's body.
""""""Fluga-sama!?"""""" We tried to help her in a hurry, but a barrier
had appeared before us before we knew it. It was obvious to all that
it was the doing of the 'Shield' Saintess—Shiva.
"Well then, please have a chat with our goddess for a while. That
being said, I don't think you'll be able to hold a proper conversation."
"Y-you…"
Grit, Fluga-sama looked at Elysium with an infuriated look, but the
restraint binding her body appeared to be something which could
seal the power of god; she was dragged into the ground without
being able to resist.
