When Reese's spiritual energy touched the two symbols, Reese's mind was flooded with visions and information. He saw the flow of time represented by the hourglass symbol, feeling the weight and fluidity of time itself. He then sensed the vastness of space through the interlocking circles, experiencing the boundless expanses and interconnectedness of the universe. The symbols were not just representations; they were the embodiment of these fundamental forces.
Reese's eyes snapped open, and he took a step back, gasping for breath. "These symbols... they're the powers of time and space," he said, his voice filled with awe.
Lakan looked at Reese with confusion in his eyes. "Time and space? What does that mean?"
Reese met Lakan's gaze and replied, "I don't really know either. This is the first time I've encountered something like this."
Reese pondered for a moment, trying to make sense of the situation. He thought that maybe the Amethyst Orb wanted him to understand the power of time and space. However, he realized that it was incredibly complex and difficult to comprehend at this stage.
"I think the orb wants me to understand these powers," Reese said, glancing at the floating symbols. "But it's very difficult to grasp right now."
He paused, considering his next move. "I need to raise my realm first, By doing that, I can enhance my comprehension abilities and hopefully make sense of these symbols."
Lakan nodded, still processing the information. "That makes sense."
Reese said, "I won't think about it for now. It's too difficult to understand at this stage. I'll come back here and try again when I break through to the Major Stage of the Medial Realm." With that, he started walking back.
Lakan nodded, then noticed something peculiar. "By the way, why do you have so much black slime on your body? And why does it smell so bad?"
Reese paused mid-step and cursed under his breath. He realized he needed to explain the situation to Lakan.
Reese turned to Lakan and began, "These black slimes are actually impurities being expelled from my body. When I break through to a higher realm, my body undergoes a cleansing process, removing all the toxins and impurities. That's why it looks and smells bad."
Lakan nodded in understanding. "I see. It's part of the cultivation process, then."
"Yes, it's a necessary step to purify the body and strengthen it further. Each breakthrough expels more impurities, making the body stronger and more resilient," Reese said as he continued to walk.
Lakan, now fully understanding the purpose of the black slime, felt reassured. "That makes sense. It's amazing how your body transforms with each breakthrough."
Reese nodded. "Indeed. Now, I need to clean off these impurities."
He then walked toward the five barrels to bathe and cleanse his body. When he opened the first barrel, he was surprised to see that the water inside was Amethyst in color. "Why is the water like this?" he wondered aloud. But he dismissed it, thinking it might be due to being inside the Amethyst Orb.
Reese scooped some water from the barrel and poured it over his body. As the water touched his skin, he felt a slight warmth and noticed that his skin felt a little tougher.
Curious, he scooped more water from the barrel and poured it over himself again. Once more, he felt the slight warmth and the toughening of his skin.
Enlightenment struck Reese, and he quickly opened the remaining four barrels. He found that they all contained the same Amethyst-colored water.
Lakan noticed Reese's excitement and asked, "What's the matter?"
Reese replied, "The water I put here has changed."
Lakan was even more confused. "What do you mean the water changed?"
Reese took a moment to explain clearly. "Every time I have a breakthrough, impurities are expelled from my body, just like now. I got tired of dealing with the mess in my rented home, so I bought five barrels to fill with water and placed them inside the Amethyst Orb. That way, I could clean myself here. But the water I put in the barrels was just normal water. Now it's different."
Reese paused, thinking. "It must be the Amethyst Orb. Somehow, it changed the properties of the water and made it like this."
Reese's excitement grew. "This is amazing," he said, smiling broadly. "I can use this water to help my friends and family. It will strengthen their bodies just like it did mine."
However, Reese realized that the amount of water he had was too little for all his friends and family. He started thinking of a plan. "Maybe I should buy more barrels to ensure there's enough," he muttered to himself.
While Reese was contemplating this, Lakan interjected, "Or you could dig a large pond here."
Reese's face lit up at Lakan's suggestion. "That's a great idea, Lakan! Thank you," he said enthusiastically. "I'll step out for a moment to get something."
Just as Reese was about to vanish, Lakan quickly asked, "Are you going out looking like that?"
Reese suddenly remembered that he hadn't finished cleaning off the impurities from his body. He scratched the back of his head, feeling a bit embarrassed by his forgetfulness due to his excitement.
Reese quickly resumed cleaning himself, making sure to thoroughly wash away all the impurities. He scanned his body, ensuring that there were no traces of the black slime left. Satisfied with the result, he turned to Lakan.
"I'm heading out for a bit, but I'll be back soon," Reese said. As he vanished.
When Reese appeared at his rented home, he quickly changed his clothes. After getting dressed, he grabbed his phone from the nightstand and called his landlady, Nida Ramos.
The phone rang five times before she answered. "Reese, what can I do for you?" Nida asked.
Reese responded, "Ma'am Nida, do you have a shovel? I need to borrow one for a task I'm working on. If that's okay?"
Nida readily agreed. "Of course. Just come and get it; I'll leave it outside by the door."
Reese thanked her and ended the call. He hurried out the door and walked briskly to his landlady's house. When he arrived, he immediately saw the shovel leaning against the door. He picked it up and called out, "I'll return the shovel after I'm done using it!"
With the shovel in hand, Reese quickly returned to his rented home and quickly headed back to the Amethyst Orb to implement his plan of creating a pond to hold the special water.
Reappearing inside the Amethyst Orb. He looked at Lakan and said, "I've got the shovel."
Reese and Lakan then started looking for a suitable spot to dig and create the pond. Reese quickly realized it would be better to dig near the hill so they could easily manage the area. He suggested this to Lakan, who agreed with a nod.
Reese began digging while Lakan watched. Reese's immense strength allowed him to dig much faster, and he knew that if Lakan helped, it would only slow them down. So, Lakan stepped back and observed as Reese efficiently worked the ground.
Hours passed, and Reese finally completed the digging. He wiped the sweat from his forehead with a cloth and looked at the hole he had dug. Feeling satisfied with his work, he jumped into the center of the hole to assess its size. Using his spiritual sense, Reese scanned the dimensions of the hole, finding it to be 10 meters wide and five feet deep.
"Alright, let's fill this with water," Reese said.
The two of them headed back to the five barrels. Reese lifted two of them effortlessly and carried them back to the pond he had just dug. He poured the water from the two barrels into the pond, watching as it began to fill.
Lakan observed Reese while grabbing the third and fourth barrels. As he watched Reese's work, he couldn't help but wonder aloud, "When will you ever finish this? This pond you've made is huge."
Reese turned to look at Lakan after pouring the third and fourth barrels into the pond. He realized that it would indeed take quite some time to fill the entire pond. The size of the pond was quite large, and even with his strength, it was a daunting task.
"You're right, this is going to take a long time." Reese contemplated for a moment as he gazed at the pond, and then he had an idea. "Huh! I got it. Wait here," he said to Lakan before heading back to his rented home.
At his rented home, Reese took the Amethyst Orb from his body and brought it close to the faucet. He turned on the faucet and then commanded the Amethyst Orb to transfer the flowing water inside straight to the pond. He hoped this method would work.
After issuing the command, the water from the faucet began to flow into the Amethyst Orb. Reese smiled as he saw the water being transferred. He then returned to the Amethyst Orb to see if the water was being transferred to the pond.
Upon entering the orb, Reese saw that the water from the faucet was indeed flowing into the Amethyst Orb. But when he looked closer, he noticed that the flow of water was very slow, then a thought struck him. He had connected the tap from outside, where time flowed normally, to the inside of the Orb, where time was accelerated.
Squatting down to get a better look. He reached out his hand, letting the cool liquid run over his fingers. The flow felt sluggish, almost as if it were in slow motion compared to how it should be.
He sighed, realizing that at this rate, it would take an extraordinarily long time to fill the pond. It might even take several months. "This is going to take forever," he thought, resigned to the reality of the situation. "I should wait outside; it will be much quicker that way."
Reese decided to leave the Orb and monitor the progress from the outside world. He turned to Lakan and said, "I'm going to step outside and wait. It's going to take too long to fill the pond in here, so I'll keep an eye on things from outside. I'll come back when it's almost full."
Lakan nodded, understanding the logic behind Reese's decision. "Alright, take care. I'll keep an eye on things here."
Reese gave a final nod and exited the Amethyst Orb.
