Chapter 32 - Chapter 32

He quickly ran towards her, sliding on the ground in the coolest way possible and stopping her from falling. Due to the dusty floor, he and Melody glided together until they were stopped by the wall. Travis held her tightly to prevent her from getting hurt, taking the impact head-on, which didn't even hurt him.

Melody opened her eyes, realizing she was in Travis's arms. She looked up and saw his face, filled with honesty and a bit of concern.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

'Not the question I wanted to hear, but I'll take it due to the situation,' she thought.

"Yes, I'm fine, at least you think I am. Could you help me check, especially on my back since I can't reach that part," she said.

Turning back, she pressed her ass against his crotch. Travis placed his hands on her waist, which made her smile.

"I feel safe when you hold me like that," she said aloud, then quickly realized what she had just said. There was no way to take it back, so she decided to play it off. She pushed her ass back, moving her hips left and right.

"I think I'm alright. I can still shake this wonderful ass. Don't you also think it's wonderful, Travis?" she asked.

"Yeah, it sure is," he said, starting to thrust back and forth.

'This ass could make the blind see, for all I'm sure. But this boy is lucky; normally, I would tease my victims, and he's the first one who has ever held my firm ass,' she thought.

"Alright, now let's leave. Tomorrow, bring some clothes you can change into so we can clean all this, okay? Let's just open the windows to get some fresh air in here," she said.

They opened all the windows in the room, making a path for themselves to walk around without tripping over any wires. After that, Travis and Melody left the room.

"I'm very grateful to you, Travis, and I can't wait to see you play the keyboard," she said.

"Yeah, I'll make sure to put on a spectacular show just for you. In fact, how about I do it the day we finish cleaning the club room?" he suggested, though he knew absolutely nothing about playing the keyboard. He was going to learn when he got home.

"That would be wonderful. Honestly, it would be like a grand unveiling, but just us two. So romantic. I love that idea, Travis," she said.

"Well, it's a date, then. Make sure to wear something sexy, because the performance will be breathtaking," he said in an overdramatic tone. Melody smiled and stepped closer to him.

"I certainly can't wait to see you in formal wear. Bye, Travis, see you after break," she said, and then started running back to her office.

All Travis could hear was the sound of her footsteps echoing down the hall:

*Pa* *Pa* *Pa* *Pa*

He shook his head, trying to get his thoughts off her ass.

'What should I do now?' he wondered.

[A/N: I'll write the teacher arcs in this sequence. Firstly Ms. Bissette, Ms. Okita, Ms. DeWitt, then the lovely Ms. Ross.]

Travis walked back to class, settling in as the teacher droned on. He scribbled a few notes, though his mind wandered to the future. Liu crossed his thoughts—meeting her this early felt off. He hadn't made enough progress yet.

'I'll just go back and see what happens. No rush, I've got time. And if I remember right, those Russian guys are supposed to show up on Friday. After that, they'll probably start hassling me for money. Too bad for them—I'm way too strong to be bothered by that.'

His gaze shifted to the papers he needed to copy. 'Might as well take care of these. June might be in class, but I'll check the computer room just in case.'

He made his way to the second floor and stepped into the dimly lit computer lab. One computer was on in the dark room. Travis flicked the light switch, illuminating the space.

'Guess she's here. Damn, she really is a gamer,' he thought, spotting June seated in front of the screen. She jumped slightly when she noticed him, visibly relaxing when she realized who it was.

"You scared me there, Travis," she said, turning slowly toward him.

"June, what are you doing here? And how do you know my name?" He sat beside her, curious.

"You're pretty popular in our school now that you're back. The star athlete, in almost all sports. So it's not surprising," she replied with a smirk. "Also, a lot of girls talk about you. I just overheard."

"Good to know. Well, since we know each other's names, could you help me copy this?" Travis said, showing her the dictionary.

"Sure, let's go." June stood up, walking over to the copy machine. She turned it on, adjusting the settings before taking the dictionary from him. "What pages do you need?" After he told her, she tried to print them, but the machine didn't cooperate. June frowned and looked back at Travis.

"I guess it's bugging again. A slight tap usually works," she said, smacking the machine a bit harder than a "slight" tap.

"There's nothing slight about that. Let me try," Travis said, tapping the machine with a single finger. His tap hit with more force than all of June's attempts combined. The machine whirred back to life.

June stared at him in surprise. "Wow. Guess you really do need a man," she teased.

"Haha, yeah, maybe. I don't know," Travis chuckled.

"You must have the Midas touch or something. I'll be calling you here more often," she giggled as they watched the machine work properly now.

Once the copies were done, Travis took the papers and set them aside. "Might as well take your gamer ID, now that we're photocopying buddies," he said with a smirk.

June giggled. "Oh, so you're a gamer too?" she teased. "I wonder what kind of games you play. I'm looking forward to beating you at your own thing."

Travis grinned. "How about I try some of your games? We could log on together at midnight—what do you think?"

June's eyes lit up. "Sure, I'm up until 2 a.m. anyway. Sounds fun. It was nice talking to you, Travis. I'll see you around." She quickly returned her attention to her gaming, zoning out of the conversation.

Travis sighed and glanced at his classroom through the glass. The thought of going back to sit through another boring lecture felt unbearable, but he had no choice. As he approached his seat, the bell rang, sparing him from the torture. He smiled and walked out.

Back in class, Travis barely paid attention. School wasn't a priority for him anymore. The extra subjects didn't matter—by the time exams rolled around, he figured he'd have slept with most of the important people, securing himself decent grades. As for the rest, he planned on cheating. He had enough money, and once the situation with the Russians was handled, he'd be even wealthier.

'I still don't get why they're here. It has to be the coke factory, but beyond that? Who knows.'
