Adelia walked the seemingly endless castle corridors towards her chambers, a visible slump on her shoulders as she carried her pile of bows.
But it certainly was not because of the weight.
The broken ones were nowhere to be seen because she had made sure to dispose of them discreetly, somewhere behind the castle, far away from prying eyes.
She had felt accomplished after she had done that without being spotted, but at the moment, Adelia's expression was anything but satisfied.
She kept releasing heavy sighs on her way to her chambers, her thoughts going back to what had happened just minutes prior.
Adelia bit her lower lip, what on earth had she done to warrant such a reaction from Azel? His sour mood seemed to create sparks in the air!
She didn't like this and she also didn't understand why his anger bothered her so much either. So much so, that she felt like her heart was being weighed down by a giant rock.
