Azel blinked a few times in disbelief, struggling to make sense of her request. "Enchant a new one?" he asked, he had to make sure he was hearing right.
"Yes," Adelia affirmed, her grip on his collar lessening. "I'm very sure you heard me well the first time."
Azel did not hesitate. "I did," he admitted. "I just didn't expect your request to be so... simple."
This time, it was Adelia's turn to blink, a hint of confusion in her expression. "What do you mean by 'simple'?" she inquired. "Enchanting an object is no small feat."
Azel raised an eyebrow as he remained hunched over. "Not for me."
Adelia lifted her brow incredulously. "Can you truly enchant something as stubborn as oak?"
Azel managed a shrug, despite his awkward posture. "With my eyes closed."
"I don't believe you," Adelia admitted.
