Adelia's fingers visibly twitched. "I am not so incompetent, Lord Azel."
"I'm sure." Azel agreed. "But sometimes, people often say the opposite of what they mean, Milady."
"Then they're delusional if they think other people would easily understand."
"I'm certain the right person would." Azel answered, then a mischievous smile curled on his lips. "Like me, of course. I understand you perfectly."
Adelia sputtered. "Absolutely not!"
"You see?" he asked and the tease in his smile continued. "If you enjoyed it that much, you should've said so directly, Milady. I'd be more than willing to provide a more thorough massage if that's your wish."
Adelia's cheeks nearly flushed at the sheer absurdity of his request, but she quickly regained her composure, she was poised to. After all, she knew the exact reaction he was trying to provoke.
